Summary: Purchased these things ten plus years ago. Still going strong. Now used for some home grown mixing and mastering. Can't believe how well these things work. Can be counted on to give near true to life representation of mixed audio processed before played back on standard home audio equipment. I would buy a second pair without hesitation.
Pros: Sound great, comfortable and can take a beating.
Summary: So I was sitting in my chair and thought to myself, "I have good headphones!" I have had a pair of these lads for 4 years! They have been dropped and even took them out for a jog once ( I did get funny looks though) with no trouble. I have fallen asleep many times thinking I must by lying on a cloud. Depending on the mood I'm in be it movies, music or a phone call the quality is quite superb. Currently to this micro second they are still in perfect working order!
Summary: I don't mind the bulk 'cause there comfortable when you wear them, I can have them on for a good hour without feeling pain in my ears like other headphones; these surround the ears and don't sit on them. These are very durable in the construction of them, they've dropped on the floor and I've even stepped on them a couple times by accident and they still work and haven't broken from it. It's was worth every penny love these for $30 headphones.
Summary: I remember buying these from a local retail chain. I wanted something that could be used for noise cancellation and give clear audio. These delivered nicely. They lasted over six years of casual use before the wire broke. I loved them so much I had the local electronics shop fix them for me. The adjusters give out after that and now I'm looking at a new pair of Koss'.
Summary: I bought 3 of these for using in recording VO at home, using for iPod and one for my camcorder when filming. You would think that the one I was using for filming would have broken first. Nope it was the one I used for my iPod walks that developed a bad connection in the wire, and then the jack came loose. The connector is too weak to last, so is the wire.
Summary: Only other thing I can think of is that the cord doesn't unplug from the actual headphones, which most headphones don't but its always nice if they do.
Pros: Built to last, these things are like a tank I contribute this to the lack of moving parts seen in some higher end headphones. My old Sonys were quite pricy and broke due to their moving parts. The only thing you can adjust is the slider to adjust how low you want them to hang on your head. Combined with thick plastic, and thick cord I don't think these guys are breaking anytime soon.
Cons: The sound quality was noticeably different from my higher end headphones, I wouldn't say its necessarily bad, I don't mind it at all and as long as you play at appropriate volume levels it sounds pretty good. Taking off 1 egg for sound quality.
