  • Summary: I have owned the Koss UR20 DJ Headphones for a little more than a month. For the money, these headphones are pretty good, but if money doesn't matter, these headphones are not too great. If you don't have a lot to spend, these are one of the better headphones you can buy in the $20-$30 range.

Headphones

  • Excerpt: Headphones were purchased for use at a public library. Our patrons have commented on how comfortable they are, and there is no sound bleed when they are in use. Various patrons can sit next to each other, listening at a volume comfortable for them and not have their neighbors complain of too much...

  • Summary: I'm a professional jazz DJ (radio) and have worn various headphones for decades. Sony studio monitors are what we use in the studio. At home I have Audio Technicas. 7 years ago I bought 4 pairs of these and donated 3 to our local low power radio station. I kept a pair and have always enjoyed them.
  • Pros: Sound quality, build quality, warranty, comfort
  • Cons: I didn't realize this before buying expensive cans!

  • Summary: These are, by far, the best phones I have ever used. I drive them with an Android tablet. I switched from Beyerdynamics Dt-990 (600 Ohmss). These have excellent treble and bass response. I suspect that they are not flat in response. That is terrific, because human hearing is anything but flat.
  • Pros: Outstanding sound
  • Cons: Cord is too long

Ears Sweat a Little. Otherwise Comfy

Anonymous, Newegg
7 October 2014
  • Summary: I use these for PC gaming more than music or stereo.
  • Pros: The ear pads are large and soft, sound quality is fine, cord is long and thick, seems to cancel noise better than my other headsets.
  • Cons: Ears sweat a little after about 30-60 minutes of use (which is why I removed an egg), you have to re-adjust the size every time you use them since it falls back to it's smallest position quite easily.
