Excerpt: I am in the music business and have used a number of headphones when playing multi-track recordings. I listen carefully for defects in the tracks then redo or apply fixes when necessary. These headphones have the clarity with an acceptable balance between upper and lower registers that allow me to produce a higher quality recording.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Value, Great Sound, Quality sound
Summary: I bought these headphones on a few recommendations and the fact that I could get them for 30% off. They sound as I expected them to sound. Koss headphones usually have great sound. I wasn't expecting too much, since these were priced in the lower range. My only complaint is that the headband fits awkwardly. The plastic is really stiff and doesn't hug the top of your head like most full sized headphones do.
Summary: We use these headphones in the computer labs at my school district. (so my experience is based on over 200 of these headphones) They hold up very well to the day to day use (and sometimes, abuse) that elementary age children throw at them. The sound quality is good for the children - so good that sometimes I can hear it across the lab and have to go turn it down for them. :-) I've used them myself and for 50 dollar headphones, they are quite acceptable.
Excerpt: This is by far my favorite brand of headphones, and this pair of headphones is responsible for that in part. I am an avid gamer, so for PC gamers this is a great option if you use headphones for the full effect. The headphones provide excellent quality and are very comfortable for the ears. They're not too big or bulky, and they're also not too heavy. I also like to use these headphones for another gaming experience.
Excerpt: Koss TD85 headphones are pretty comforatable and work ok. I've had other headphones but these seem to work the best. What I like most about these particular headphones is the cushioned ears they have. Some headphones can give you a headache or just don't fit right on your head, but these are adjustable and I like that. For the money these headphones can't be beat. They also have a volume control, which comes in handy.
Excerpt: I got these headphones as a gift from my father one Christmas. They were probably the best gift I got that year. These headphones have great quality sound, with clear background instruments, and good but not too strong bass. They also help mute outside noise and are perfect for traveling, especially via airplanes or trains, which can be noisy and you have to turn up your volume all the way to hear any sound. They are very comfortable and are cushioned to cradle your ear.
Excerpt: I picked up these headphones a few months ago at a local electronics store. I was looking for noise cancelling headphones with protective foam because other headphones had really irritated my ears. I'm so glad I selected these headphones. Aesthetically, they definitely have a retro look to them. They basically are a no fuss set of headphones that work. I have to wear these headphones for extended amounts of time due to my roommates.
Excerpt: i love these retro looking headphones. They also pump a lot of sound into those cushiony headphones. i love that they fit even my small head. i cant use ear buds my ears dont fit them properly and a lot of the headphones that curl around the back of the head fall off me i love these because they can adjust to even little people as well as a large adults head. i love listening to my ipod through them. they also block out all other sounds outside the headphones.
