Summary: Got mine about a year ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. One year after I got them, I take the time to write a review, that's how impressed I am. I prefer listening music and films with them to my home audio system. Microphone quality is great compared to any headset microphone I have ever tried. Never had trouble with them. Microphone swings only one way. I know it's not important but sometimes I actually wanted it to point to the room.
Pros: Good sound quality; Comfortable;
Cons: Microphone swings only forward; Build quality
Pros: They're cheap, they're adequate for gaming, and for me they have held up well over time. Sure there are better headsets out there, but they're much more expensive. If you want a decent headset for not much money, this is a good bet.
Cons: None really. For the price they're excellent.
Cons: The mic is on the left side and doesn't stay put out of the way when you don't want to use it. The sound quality is poor. I bought these expecting them to sound great like the KSC75, which have fantastic sound, and these ones just don't match up.
Summary: The SB-49 headset provides good performance for the price. You CAN pay over $200 for a headset used in a broadcast or recording studio, but you cannot find better value for the money. The earphone receivers are clear, with full range. The microphone is HOT, but clean and tailored for the human voice frequency spectrum.
Pros: Sound good - Hold Up Well - Comfortable for long periods
Summary: While this isn't the most top notch headset out there, it's definitely one of the best deals out there. It has great quality for its low price, probably comparable to that of a $50 headset. The headset feels transparent sitting on my head, which is a big plus. Probably one of the biggest bonuses to this headset is the limited lifetime warranty. I accidentally severed the wire on my headset and was able to return it under warranty!
Pros: -Price (excellent value for its price!)-Lifetime warranty-Overall good quality
