Summary: I've destroyed many headphones simply by moving out of range and stressing the wire connecting to the headphone. Fortunately this headphone has a coiled wire, so doing this accidentally would be impossible. So nice. They're probably not ideal for noisy environments, however with low-level noise, they work well. The comforting over-the-ear speakers do help cut back on background noise.
Summary: I kid you not, the cushions just gave out - 16 year later. The vinylette tore and disintegrated almost overnight. They still sound great, and now my kids use them. The replacement pads are $5, plus shipping. Return on investment is huge. I used them primarily for PS1 and PS2, Gran Turismo! I treated them like gold and that's why they lasted. Can't say the same gift others. Why a 4 for overall? They didn't last forever!
Summary: The headphones do not adjust small enough for my head. I cannot get a good fit around the ears to allow for noise reduction. They have good sound and perhaps would be much better if they could be adjusted to fit my head. I would recommend for someone who has a large head.
Summary: Great headphones for the price. Only thing is adjusting them so they feet square over the ears. This doesnt seem to fit square over the ears. Otherwise, the sound quality is great, not too much going on, not too little going on. Please don't waste your money on XXXX headphones or XXXXX headphones. They are overselling because of the brand. Buy these guys and get it for a 75% drop in your costs. GREAT BUY FOR THE MONEY. REMEMBER, DON'T BUY XXXX OR XXXXX.
Summary: I've owned a pair of these for about 7 years and the replacement pair for about 3 years. There are better phones available, and may be equally good ones now for less money, but considering the length of time I've used them, I feel that I've gotten my money's worth out of them.
Pros: Acceptable (to me) sound for all kinds of music. Whether they would be acceptable to you might depend on how discriminating you are. A friend of mine who is a good musician tried them and described the sound as "a little thin". The cord is long, thick, strong, attached to just one earpiece, and of the coiled type that expands and contracts as required. Some people don't like that design but it suits me better than the types that are short, thin, divide in a Y shape to...
Cons: The headphones fit tighter than I'd like. After a half hour or so, I need a few minutes break from wearing them. I tried stretching them by leaving them on a large form when I wasn't wearing them, but that had no effect. The plastic band between them seems to be unaffected by usage.
Summary: I've tested these on 3 receivers, and they fail miserably in each case when compared to my previous pair of headphones (Koss TD85). I will say that they are more comfortable than the TD85 headphones though.
Pros: They fit around the ear instead of on top of the ear...
Cons: My initial impression with these headphones was not good, and after trying them out for about a week, it's even worse. They sound distorted at all volume levels, and are unbearable to listen to at higher levels.
Summary: i bought these when i first started listening to music alot..this was a while back. they had awesome treble and average bass. they cup broke though, and i didnt keep the receit. i fixed it with tons of tape but after a while the speaker gave out. i bought some panasonic cans..but they sucked compared to koss. i like the cable attachment..i still have the cable from the old one.
