Not recommended for long term, regular use.

Patrick W., Newegg

  • Summary: For 20 bucks, it's not bad, but the quality is shaky. It'll easily rack up in price if you find yourself buying multiple pairs as a result of one failing. If this is the case, you'd be better off just buying a different pair of head/earphones altogether.
  • Pros: Price: It's hard to beat the price. I've managed to get two pairs for 20 bucks, each for the price it performed well. Sort of. Sound quality: Clear sound and great quality for the price. Comfort: At first it will seem off, but with adjustment you'll hardly notice that you have them on. Your milea...
  • Cons: I would not recommend this for regular, long term use. I've gone through two units in less than 6 months, with the second pair failing less than 2 months after the purchase. One of the headphones would fail to produce any sound, with no sign of damage. I guess it's just the build quality. The cli...

  • Summary: Okay for the price
  • Pros: They sound pretty nice, and are pretty comfortable for up to a couple of hours.
  • Cons: The clips pop off rather easily, and they become really loose upon snapping back on. Also, unless you listen at a low volume (as you should, if you like your sense of hearing), other people WILL hear your music as well. They're also pretty inconvenient to carry around, though that's a more obviou...

Meh

Le D., Newegg
27 January 2014
  • Summary: I've listened to $1 headphones thought $300. I wouldn't compare these to pricey $80 cans like other people. They sound like 20-30 range earphones to me without the bass. (It needed some equalization for me).
  • Pros: It sounds ok, considering the price. REALLY considering the price. Comfort level is that I can wear it for 8 hrs a day through work without any pain, but really it depends on whose head it's on.
  • Cons: Distorts, can't handle too much bass, so you need better clip ons if you want more bass. Popping and clipping apparent in sound occasionally. Doesn't sound very nice if you have many voices in the track.

Wiring is not durable

Anonymous, Newegg
4 July 2013
  • Pros: Decent sound, no complaints.
  • Cons: Occasionally I'll have the cord get caught on something and the speakers yanked off my head. This has caused the wiring in the speakers, always the left one for some reason, to come loose. Resulting in intermittent sound or none at all. I've gone through 3 pairs already in 3 months because of this.

  • Summary: I love the sound quality and the fact that you can protect your ear drums but not using ear buds; however, the wiring is cheaply made and eventually the clips wear out and don't stay on your ears. I have been using this product for 6 years now and always have to buy a new set every year.
  • Pros: Great sound and you can adapt the ear clips to fit your ears.
  • Cons: The wire always comes apart after using it for a year which exposes the wiring at the bottom. Even after taping it, the wires eventually disconnect and therefore you have to buy another headset.

  • Summary: These work great and I use them a lot while at home. Sadly, the wiring leads to the earphone developed a break inside the wiring after only a year of use. Koss Corporation: We do have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the headphones.
  • Pros: Clarity, bass response, comfort
  • Cons: Quality

A little hard to put on my ear

Daniel O., Newegg
20 November 2010
  • Summary: Would be nice if Koss imitated the Panasonic RP-HS43 by makeing the arm that goes around the ear be able to pivot to open and close. That makes it easier to put on your ear and also be able to open it for talking on your cell phone or regular phone.
  • Pros: Sound is good Price is good
  • Cons: A little hard to put on the ear

  • Summary: The general word on the KSC-75 is that "they're good for the price" - which in this case, can be between $6-20. They don't have the bloated bass or scratchy top end of most phones of its ilk, but don't expect greatness. Consider their very modest price.
