Decent sound, aweful durability

Jeremiah A., Newegg
18 November 2015
  • Summary: not worth the price I paid (76% off MSRP)
  • Pros: I'm only a wannabe audiophile, and overall I was pretty happy with the sound, I felt the lows lacked punch, but I'm a bit of a basshead as well LOL. Comfort was very good, except I live in a hot climate and I would always get hot/sweaty wearing these cans.
  • Cons: Hot & sweaty head wearing these cans. Durability is my biggest complaint, the pads finish started pealing off after about 8 months, and the band (plastic only) snapped after about 10 months of occasional usage (I only wore these about once a week). I would expect a lot more from cans which MSRP a...

User Review

Anonymous, Newegg
24 June 2015
  • Pros: just got these and sure there are better headsets but it comes down to preference. klipsch is known for over all sound and not like beats with over bass sound. Bought these on sale and for $70 you can't go wrong. can't wait till they burn in and the sound gets better. time will tell if like with ...
  • Cons: This is to klipsch why no android controls and mic cord like you have for apple. android is a major player now. I hope you make an android cord in the future and show some love for us android users. Not everyone drinks the apple kool aid.

Do not buy these

Anonymous, Newegg
19 June 2015
  • Summary: Seriously, do not buy these. There are much better options.
  • Pros: They were a decent price on sale, and had decent reviews.
  • Cons: Muddy sound, very poor quality, like wannabe Beats without the bass, only the distortion. Tight on your head; the headband is known to break from normal use. The sale price dropped by $20 after I bought these, so obviously they are not selling. To replace damaged ear cups, I needed to return them...

Wanted to like them

Aaron K., Newegg
11 March 2015
  • Pros: Good Sound, comes with nice cord
  • Cons: The part that goes over your head relies on a piece of acrylic bending each time you put it on. Pretty obvious now why it broke in about 6 months with very light use at my desk at work.

Breaks easily

Maciej D., Newegg
2 February 2015
  • Summary: One of the hinges broke a couple months into daily use. Very disappointing
  • Pros: Good sound quality
  • Cons: Heavy, not durable, awkward plug on left ear cup can interfere with larger coat collars

Happy With Purchase

Jerry W., Newegg
29 December 2014
  • Pros: I'm starting to accumulate a fairly large collection of headphones and headsets because I can't seem to pass up a good buy. I purchased these as a possible substitute for my Creative CALs (which are a great set of cans by the way considering the price). The few tech reviews I found of the Klipsch...

child sized

Donald N., Newegg
6 December 2014
  • Pros: They sound amazing, ear shaking bass response without mudding up the higher frequencies. likely the best sounding headphones I have heard which is a shame considering the major con.
  • Cons: they are so incredibly small that I came back here to make sure I did not order a childs size on accident. they have so much clamping force on your ears that it is painful after listening for awhile. they hold on my 3 year olds head fine without falling off. For this reason alone I am returning t...

Super Solid construction. Med Sound

Basil P., Newegg
19 November 2014
  • Pros: THe construction is rock solid. Purchase this if you need a really rugged pair of headphones. cord is fantastic, fabric mesh. no tangle and sturdy
  • Cons: the money went into quality construction and not into sound. the sound is decent but my 80 buck bose sound, or 120 buck grado SR80 sound way better. but they are NO where near as sturdy. Fit is less comfortable because of weight and sturdiness of materials

You have to have a small head to like these

m r., Newegg
17 November 2014
  • Pros: Adequate sound quality. Excellent sound isolation.
  • Cons: Very heavy and tight fitting. Uncomfortable within a few moments. Can't imagine listening for a long time. Think twice if you have a moderately large head.

Good sound, less than average quality parts

seungmin l., Newegg
12 November 2014
  • Pros: Sound is great, they are comfortable, the wire and pads have a top quality feel to them that you would expect from top shelf headphones. I got them at $99
  • Cons: The right plastic pin at the joint that fold the headphone failed on me after a couple weeks of light use. I have to emphasize the word "light;" it was nothing more than use sitting at my computer. I didn't drop them, heck I didn't even walk around with them. It just snapped as I was putting the ...
