Summary: I'm a big Klipsch fan and have been looking for a good deal on these headphones for a while. I just received them yesterday and frankly I am blown away at how good they sound, regardless of the volume level. Even listening to music over my phone is a pleasure... Don't hesitate, buy a pair!
Summary: I also own the Klipsch S4 and S4 Reference as a backup. Even-though I love them, I get tired of sticking ear-buds in my ear, so I decided to purchase these and couldn't be happier. The sound is so crisp and the bass is just perfect when listening to my FLAC (Uncompressed music format) collection. The Bass is not overwhelming or underwhelming. They are very comfortable, but it did took time to get used to since I only used in-ear headphones.
Summary: The Klipsch Reference One headphones are fabulous! True Sound, lightweight, comfortable and look good too. Cord could be a foot or two longer is about all I would change. Service from Buy.com and World Wide Stereo were Outstanding. Shipped quick with excellent packing and equipment in sealed OEM packaging.
Summary: I am really enjoying these headphones. The sound seems just right and they have replaced my previous AKG headphones for listening to music at the computer, where I use an external headphone DAC and expect high quality sound.
Summary: I bought these for my kids. I have the Sennheiser HD448 headphones that have great reviews. To my dismay, I compared the two and the Klipsch sound much better. They require a lot less power, have much more bass and are clearer in the highs. They also fold flat which the HD448 do not and come with a better case. As a bonus they can control the volume and track selection if you use them with an iPad (only one I tested).
Summary: Really an excellent headphone since I got it at half-off deal-of-the-day. I am a little finicky about the fit (unusual head shape) and weight. This headphone turned out to be great on those aspects. I am not an audiophile but pretty picky about the quality of sound. This headphone has very well balanced audio without noticeable exaggeration at low, middle, or high frequencies.
