  • Summary: Compared to the siblings: This is the Promedia version of Klipsch Image S4 (and their S4i iPhone counterpart). Besides the gamer-friendly red and black coloring they also differ from the S4i by having a single button mic rather than the 3-button Apple remote. They also come with a Y-adapter that splits the TRRS plug into separate plugs for PC headphone and mic connectors.
  • Pros: Good fit with nice quality stock tips, fairly compact, soft cables seem to do a decent job with microphonics
  • Cons: Bass-heavy, a bit lacking in the upper ranges, soft cables don't feel very snag resistant.

  • Summary: these are great sounding earbuds, they feel comfortable and look pretty good. the one huge problem with these are that every time the cable touches your cloths you get this thudding sound go straight into your ears, very disappointing .
  • Pros: great sound
  • Cons: bad design

  • Summary: Coming from a Sony MDR-V6 for my main set CAN, I'm very use to a flatter frequency response and far less bass. The large amount of bass can overpower the main track in some my electronic tracks however it is just strong enough in most of music making it far more enjoyable. This was mainly observable on my desktop PC with a Creative X-Fi, but on my Samsung Galaxy S, the extra bass was just enough to push the weak default source to a far more enjoyable level.
  • Pros: Build Quality, Built in Mic, Y-Adapter for PC
  • Cons: Stock tips are too soft, could not get a good seal;

Little belters...

  • Summary: Most impressed with these. They would have had five stars, but there is some noise coming from the cable whenever they bang into something (clothes, body). But the quality of the music coming out of them is absolutely brilliant.

Better than my CX870's - shame about the adapter and control

Jon Paul, Amazon
13 July 2012
  • Summary: I've held off writing this review for a couple of weeks to give the earphones a chance, and it's a good thing I did. Out of the pack, they were horrible. Seriously bad, to the point where I thought no amount of burn in would make these sounds as good as my old CX870's. Listening to music (in this case some Asteroids Galaxy Tour) they actually seemed to be crackling at the high end, almost like they'd blown.

Nice

  • Summary: Firstly, these earphones are very comfortable. They fit the ears perfectly, it feels really good to wear them. Sound quality is good, especially good are the vocals and all the high frequency sounds. Music becomes really detailed, you'll be able to hear everything perfectly. Probably the best earphones if you pay much attention to the vocals.

  • Summary: i was looking at the jays 3 and was on the verge of getting them when i stumbled across these. the reviews looked good and they were a good price (about 35 quid i think) so i went against all my previous research and went for these. the few hours i had them was a major disappointment as when i plugged them into my phone, the ray, i kept getting an error message saying the accessory wasnt supported. i found a klipsch app and downloaded that but it didnt help.

Klipsch Promedia

T. Joslin, Amazon
2 March 2012
  • Summary: After listening to my music through bass heavy phones previously, I thought had made a big mistake when I first listened to these phones as my inital reaction was, "Where's all the bass gone!". But after a while, I begain to listen more to what was going on. These phones will reproduce what sound there is in the track and no more. This is what I found confusing at first.

great sound, quite cheap.

  • Summary: 'I use uncompressed sound on my old 60G Ipod Photo. I bought these due to the outstanding reviews. The sound is way too bright and trebly. I have tweaked the EQ on my Ipod but bass is poor and sound is just not warm or rich enough. Getting rid after 1 week. Going back to my on ear Bose's.' 1 week later my son suggested changing the buds (several types supplied) and the sound improved greatly when I got a snugger fit.
