Summary: Do NOT Buy these, I have gone through 3 sets of these in a month and a half, the noise cancelation just quits, the longest a set lasted for me was a week, other than that they sound great, fit good, no wonder they discontinued them, Stay Away.
Summary: I bought these on sale right after Christmas, found them very uncomfortable and returned them. Unfortunately, there was good reason for them to be so reduced. I found the foam on the ear pad too firm and my ears hurt after an hour using them. As compared to Bose, the noise-cancelling seemed non-existent, beyond what would be blocked out by them just being an over-ear headphone set (passive noise-cancelling.
Summary: I purchased these on christmas day online received them on boxing day and returned them the 27th. The pair isn't bad. It just didn't meet my expectations for their price. The bass is decent but could be better. The mid and high range sounds absolutely suck. If your looking to purchase a good pair at this price don't get these.
Summary: Brought this during the boxing week, totally disappointed, thought will get advantage on the big discount, so wait and wait…… And finally, got this a week after Boxing Day, did not feel any comfort, my head and ear hurt after an hour wearing this headphone. Music quality- compare to the monster and beats, this was beaten , not a big different between you turn on or off the power.
Summary: you will regret for buying it, just like I did. The headphone is extremely heavy and my spinal cord start to feel pain after a few day of using. The audio quality is so bad, so bad that it sounds exactly the same as my 15 dollar headphone. When you turn your noise cancellation on, you can always hear electric sound going on on the background and the bass suddenly becomes so loud. The noise cancellation is just a volume booster.
Summary: I bought these headphones during this sale. I found the quality of sound as mediocre at best. Quite dull in fact. Great bass but muddy sounding highs. I was terribly disappointed in the lack of comfort. Ear cups are small and the tension on my head was excessive. Noise cancelling was good. They do have some great features that others have indicated. I would recommend against them. For headphones that are supposedly [price], I expected so much more.
Summary: I bought these on sale during boxing week and understand the reason behind the sale. 1. Extremely uncomfortable - you can listen to these for more than an hour without discomfort, the ear cups are made of hard memory foam which hurt your ears, combine the weight with their tension theyre awful. 2. The sound is dull and too much bass just overall bad headphones Do not waste your money on these.
Summary: I bought these Klipsch M40's on Boxing Day thinking I was getting a good deal. The store representative was very sure that these were the best headphones for the money, so I happily bought them and was on my way. The price seemed fair at [the price] apparently saving ... I find that hard to believe... When I got home and tested them VS my brothers Audio Technica ATH-M50's I was horribly disappointed thinking that the Klipsch's would blow the M50's out of the water.
Summary: I went through 2 pairs thinking the first one had issues. Return the first one for Sens Momentums which are in every way better. The M40s are not comfortable. They clamp on the head too much. As for the sound, it is essentially tuned and only works best with Apple products. It doesn't like power from headphone amps or my HiFi player (Fiio X5). Sound is good when hooked up to an Ipod.
