Not a perfect player, but pretty close to what I was looking for

Jay J., Amazon
12 October 2014
  • Summary: I am not an audiophile, or at least I don't consider myself one anyway. However, I am a music lover who appreciates good, quality products related to sound, so this review is mostly for the common folk. How does it sound? Pretty awesome. It has bass for days and plenty left on reserve.

Life changing sound system.. AND it's portable

ExpertGuru, Amazon
30 July 2014
  • Summary: This is a life-changing product. No other speaker system can compare to this. The deep bass and no distortion turns any room into a club environment. Amazing product from Klipsch. My only gripe is that I take this to the beach often and it's hard to keep the unit clean. Sand gets into the speaker grill and it's almost impossible to remove, not to mention there is a top rubber mat where you can keep your phone that is very sticky and even with a wet rag it's hard to...

Sounds Clean but not worth this price

rch316, Amazon
18 April 2014
  • Summary: Very nice portable MP3 dock but for the money I would expect louder sound. Very clean highs and decent bass. Comparison to Dre Beats Dock: I played both of them side by side and here is what I found. The KMC has cleaner sound. Dre dock is a bit louder but gets more distorted at high volume. If you are looking for quality I would say go with the KMC I am still waiting for the right dock to come out that is loud enough. Nothing yet!

My Precious Speakers.

laurent, Amazon

  • Summary: If you know sound, you will appreciate this device. No, it's not perfect but it's honest, you get what you pay for. I bought these with $1300 to my name and I don't regret spending one bit. I download FLAC files, I consider myself an audiophile and this is my first pair of bluetooth speakers. I produce music for my sister who is a vocalist. I tested the Bose Soundlink III, the Sony BTX-500, the Big Jambox, and for $100 more, the KMC3 is a major step up.

Klipsch Flexes It's Musical Prowess With The KMC-3

Matt B, Amazon
6 March 2014
  • Summary: I stumbled upon the KMC-3 sort of by mistake, but boy I'm sure glad I did. I was at my local brick and mortar electronics store to purchase a wireless mouse when I decided to stop by the wireless speaker section to see whats new, since the category is constantly flooded with new brands and models. To my surprise I saw the KMC-3 made by Klipsch. A brand I know very well, but not aware they had recently jumped into the wireless speaker market too.

  • Summary: lov my new KMC3..i basically use it it the bedroom and courtyard .. this "bluetooth box box" is built quality from Klipsch..i use the KMC3 as background music when guests arrive, but when alone i turn up the volume slightly louder.. i feel it has excellent sound quality for the music i listen to ( Melissa Etheridge, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton to name a few artists)..i use Pandora to listen to my music.
  • Pros: clean sound, more volume than you need, solid built quality product from Klipsch
  • Cons: i don't mind the weight with the batteries, mostly use A/C

Klipsch KM-3---Not the best of its field

CMJ, Crutchfield
28 February 2014
  • Summary: Having canvassed the internet for the best bluetooth speaker dock at this price point, I was persuaded by what seemed like an onslaught of positive reviews for the Klipsch KMC-3. I had previous experience with Klipsch headphones and am well-aware of Kipsch's stellar reputation amongst audiophiles; therefore, I decided to take the plunge and purchase this speaker. Well, in the interim, I had also ordered a heavily discounted JBL Rumble.
  • Pros: Looks Great Good Bass
  • Cons: *Muddy Wall of Sound, Little Separation *APTX sounds worse than regular bluetooth even when paired with an APTX capable Android tablet *Bluetooth must be re-paired with IOS Devices each time bluetooth is used because the initial remembered connection with an IOS device (tested with an iPhone 5 and iPad Air) is full of static and crackling (like a scratched record) when automatically connecting. This did not happen with my MacBook Air or Android Tablet.
