Excellent fit and sound

  • Excerpt: Long time UE fan and have recently switched to these. These are a perfect balance of fit, style, and performance. Most notably with the ear shape and the flat cord. Performance wise these are on par with other > $ earbuds. The complaints about bass are unfounded in my experience. The base is clear and where it should be.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality

If you can afford them or they are on sale.. GET THEM.

  • Summary: Most people dont understand that headphones are only as good as the source of the music. I only listen to 320+ kbs mp3 audio. The files may take up more room on your device, but you will be happier when you hear the difference. These headphones will expose the poor quality of mp3 audio. While listening to an actual CD or plugged into your computer with a great soundcard and high quality audio; just sit back, close your eyes and enjoy the ride.
  • Pros: Other than looking down right fancy, The sound quality is amazing. Tangle-free cable is a great improvement from previous Klipsch headphones.
  • Cons: Price is probably the biggest con for me. No crazy bass here which could be a con for people that don't enjoy their eardrums! :D

Poor quality

  • Excerpt: I bought this product to use with the iPod under a helmet on my Harley rides. I previously purchased the S4i II and found it to be the best at the time compared to so many other expensive brands as it had a good blend of treble, and bass which could be heard in spite of the Harley rumble. The ceramics in the X7i are very comfortable and produced good clear treble and mid range. They advertised "Thundering bass" and these headphones were twice the price.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact Design
  • Cons: Poor Sound Quality

IT BROKE DOWN IN 5 MONTHS

Hollywood king 90210, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I wrote 2 reviews under hollywood king and 90210 king and gave it a 5 star. The item broke down on me in 5 months. KIPSCH HAS the worst customer service. The item was under warranty and it has taken them 4 weeks to process the warranty. Don't waste your money on this item and Klipsch.
  • Cons: Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Flimsy Construction, Poor Sound, Poor Value, Too Much Ambient Noise, Uncomfortable

Sounds great...until they break

  • Excerpt: I'm going on my third pair of Image X7i headphones. Not because I like them so much, but because they keep breaking. I bought my first pair in the fall, and within 7 months I've gone through 3 pairs. They are comfortable, stylish, and sound great, but one side keeps cutting out. LAME.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Stylish
  • Cons: Flimsy Construction

Disappointing

Hammertime, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: These new headphones are actually not as good as the 4i model I bought 18 months ago. For the price tag, I have no idea what the manufacturer thinks is better! This would get one star but I like the flat cord. I am truly disappointed in this product and have already stuck them in a drawer preferring the S4i I already own.
  • Cons: Poor Sound, Poor Value

  • Summary: I managed to find these $200 off retail (Canada). They are great IEMs but i believe the $300 tag is a bit high for Canadian buyers, I believe these can compete with earbuds around the $150-$200 range.   They have an excellent signature, with the mids really coming forward. They have a good bass presence, one which is very smooth as opposed to punchy.
  • Pros: Clear defined mids and highs, smooth bass, lightweight, durable ceramic
  • Cons: Higher microphonics than average

Impressive quality!

  • Summary: I bought these after the price was reduced and I am really pleased with them. I was a bit concerned as to whether the bass would be prominent enough, as I tend to listen to bass-driven rock - but I was really impressed. Very clear mid and top range and excellent bass. Not as deep as, say, House of Marley Zion 'buds - but rich and pleasingly "there". Lovely quality, as well. I have not owned ceramic buds before! Great fit, for me. They definitely stay firmly in my ears!

Great sound quality, poor durability

Edoardo, Amazon

  • Summary: Sound quality: 5 stars Comfort / fit: 5 stars Durability: 1 star I specifically held off on writing this review for a couple months since I wanted to have an idea of the durability of these earphones. Sound quality: the sound quality is excellent for this price range, with a perfectly balanced mix of highs, mids and lows and bass which is crisp and not overwhelming. Comfort / fit: excellent.
