Summary: They are surpsisngly fun sounding and they give almost surround sound effect with detailed mids and good punchy bass and almost good for all genres music. The highs are not extended but overall they are detailed yet fun sounding and with good built quality.
Pros: surround sound effect, great mids, realy good punchy bass, crisp clear highs...
Summary: These were one of my first high-end earphone purchases, and it did not disappoint.
Before buying, there are a few things to consider regarding the Klipsch Image range. I was looking at the X5 and the X10, as both had good reviews.
Excerpt: Klipsch’s X5 earbuds are little bullet-shaped ‘buds that, despite weighing next-to-nothing, deliver big booming sound. Like many other earbuds we’ve tested, the X5s must be inserted deep into your head to create a sound-isolating seal in the ear canal.
Pros: Big can audio quality in the guise of wee earbuds. Sharp sound and sharp design. 0.398-ounce weight? What are these things made out of, aerogel?
Cons: You’ve got to push (and I mean really push) the buds into dangerously deep areas of your ear to make them work properly. Cinching the cable to keep them tied down will make you look ridiculous.
Conclusion: Thanks to the well-designed ear tips, the Klipsch Image X5 earphones offer great sound isolation — always a good thing in our book, because it lets you listen to your music at lower volumes and preserve your hearing.
Pros: Thin, tangle-prone wire that raises some concern for durability, Pricey, Shorter warranty period than competition from Shure
Cons: Ultracompact, lightweight, and comfortable, Offer great sound quality, Contoured eartips offer a secure fit with exceptional sound isolation, Plug is uniquely designed for durability, Includes a nifty travel pouch, an aeroplane adaptor, and a cleaning tool
