Summary: If you are coming from Skull Candy, you will probably be disappointed like I was... I've been a long time Skull Candy head phone and earbud lover... but decided to give another earbud a try, trying to get an even better audio experience.... The bass was cut by 40% - 50% on the S4 compared to Skull Candy... i ended up taking my S4's back and sticking with Skull Candy....
Pros: Good overall lows, mids, and highs... very crisp and clear sounding...
Cons: The bass was cut by 40% - 50% on the S4 compared to Skull Candy earbuds...
Summary: I am a HUGE Klipsch fan, have been for years, will probably always be one. My entire home theater is Klipsch and they usually do not disappoint. But in this case, I think they could do a little better job on their product (some minor tweaks) to make it a GREAT product.
Pros: These IEMs provide excellent sound especially at this price point. I tried the X10s, X5s and various models of Shure IEMs and honestly for the slight difference in sound quality I could not justify the additional price. The silicone nubs fit fairly well. iPhone/iPod remote works very well
Cons: 1. I have had these just over a year and the wires have separated from the speaker. Now, only the left ear works. Granted, I carries these in my pocket, everyday and use them often, I would prefer a little better build quality. 2. The microphone is very hard to use. It hangs about chest level and picks up EVERYTHING. most people told me to take them off speakerphone because it was driving them insane (even though they were not on speakerphone). It also hangs way too l...
Great Sound, Delicate Design - NOT for exercise use!

Summary: If the units in my experience lasted longer it would definitely be 5/5. Klipsch was actually pretty good about replacing my defective units - I was almost surprised they were willing to send me out 2 replacement units considering it's not your standard 20$ headset. Overall they sound excellent, I was more than happy when I brought them on a couple vacations.
Pros: Sound is excellent. I own both the S4i and S5i and the S4i actually sounds much deeper and robust than it's more durable counterpart - although I don't know what that really is attributed to. The design is sleek and shiny, so if that kind of thing matters to you then you got it covered. I only used it for phone calls maybe 3-5 times, and it seemed to work fine.
Cons: These are NOT for use when exercising, let me make that clear. I went through 3 pairs of these and the first 2 were completely my fault by getting sweat inside the remote (yes it's gross but a fact of life) and it eventually resulted in failure of the remote and one of the channels audio. The third pair I don't know what happened. All I used them for was to walk around and listen to podcasts while I work at my job, the audio just died in one of the ears.
Summary: Sound quality is great, but still some problems. They would be a lot more useful if they came with a wider variety of earbud caps.
Pros: Sound quality is excellent. iPod controls work for my iPod.
Cons: iPod controls make the headphones useless for anything else. When I plug these into my computer, the sound is all quiet and distorted unless I hold down one of the control buttons. So don't plan to plug these into anything but an apple product. Also, the earbud caps tend to fall out of my ears a lot. I didn't think I had gigantic ears, but even with the largest size caps, they fall out. I can't go jogging with these headphones, because they'll fall out every few meters.
Not sure. These are not obviosly rugged from inspection ...

Summary: Not sure. These are not obviosly rugged from inspection but mine havent failed me yet. I suspect they will sustain rain damage but the cable and connections dont appear to be any more "chunky" than other rugged ones I have seen. Bit pricey given this but I may be eing unfair given they've lasted well so far.
Summary: After less then half a year one channel is gone... really disappointed that they didn't last, apart from that somehow uncomfortable to wear (tried all the tips) even though Klipsch credit themsleves with those uniquely profiled buds... overall impression - a bit overpriced and tiresome to the ear after a while, still have an identical pair of them left - let see how long they are going to last for...
