Summary: I bought these headphones for the gym and as far as sound quality these are really really good, my only complaint if I there is one is they do not stay in place very well after thirty minutes in the gym, sweat tends to be a problem. But for in-ear headphones they delivery great sound. Just make sure you have a decent mp3 player to go with them.
Pros: Good bass, great sound overall especially for the price
Cons: Cord is a little flimsy, Not the most secure fit but good enough
Cons: These headphones are made terribly low quality. They broke in three different places within about 6 months even when keeping excellent care of them and never letting them get tangled or forcing them into a tight knot. Klipsch support did absolutely NOTHING for me even when I reported the obvious design flaws. The plastic connecting the wire to the ear buds slowly breaks apart with just regular listening use, the plastic tips pop off way too easily, and the left ear sl...
Summary: If you're getting something for the office, these are great. They block out others on the phone ok and I like the bass. If you need headphones for dual purpose (office and work out) I would not suggest these.
Pros: Different size ear buds, blocks outside noise well. Ok for the office or relaxing.
Cons: Horrible for exercising or anything that could cause you to sweat. Going for a long run? Don't use these, you'll spend the entire time pushing them back into your ear.
Summary: I did not buy these through newegg but I felt compelled to write a review about these just to share my experiences. I purchased these to replace my slightly damaged vmoda earbuds as one of the cables is stripped near the earpiece and copper wire is now showing. I have been a big fan of Klipsch for many years and wanted to see how these would sound. Sadly, they do not compare as well as I thought.
Pros: Nice design, very comfortable in the ears.
Cons: Not as good as other high-end vmoda earbuds. See Other Thoughts below.
Summary: How did they give this such a high rating? I have $20 Sony headphones that produce the same sound quality. The voice gets muddy along with some of the background instruments as soon as you turn up the volume a bit. Audiophiles will not be satisfied with this headphones - now I have to spend more money and go back to Dre Beats.
Pros: Controls are good, bass is good
Cons: Highs are incredibly muddy as you turn up the volume.
Cons: Was difficituly to stay in ear when walking on campus but we can blame my ears for that. What really sucked is that after just a few months the cable on the left speaker started to get cut till it just stopped working... Always got tangled up in my pockets...
Summary: These are great if you want to spend a bunch of money and have nothing to show for it in a couple of months. Klipsch will only back them if you buy through a mainstream seller and can prove they're under warranty. In other words, they'll use any excuse they can to blow you off. I'll never buy anything from Klipsch again!
Pros: Sound quality.
Cons: The cheap plastic casing on the wires starts to crack and fall apart after only a couple of months!
Pros: Just a heads up for folks. There is now a newer model (S4A II) available direct for the same price and it appears that Klipsch controls the retail price as the ones listed here are also $99. Don't fault Newegg for the the price.
