Summary: I bought this product based on the positive reviews, i was looking for comfort and blocking out of external noise so that i could lower the volume of my music player. Unfortunately, for me anyway they are not comfortable at all, after a while wearing them i began to get ear ache from the headphones, tried the three different sizes that come with the product but still hurt.
Summary: I was looking for a new pair of earbuds and was attracted to these for two reasons. The first was that a work colleague had a pair and said the sound quality was good, and the second (if I'm being honest) was the deep discount. First impressions when they arrived was that the box was ridiculous – you have to peel off a strip of the side to slide out the molded plastic that holds the phones and case etc. The earphones themselves looked wonderful.
Summary: I bought a pair of these back in December 2011. I just lost them the other week and Im back on the this site ordering another pair. They have been the best headphones I have ever purchased. I have gone through JVC, Sony, Bose, Skullcandy and these are by far the best bang for buck. I am often in the gym everyday either weightlifting or running and these have held up awesome. The sound quality is excellent and they have the perfect treble/bass ratio.
Summary: I bought these headphones as a replacement for another brand, the night before taking a long bus ride. Acoustic stuff sounded great, really rich middle-ground and crisp treble, etc. but I was disappointed in the lack of bass while listening on my iPod and no amount of EQ tweaking could resolve it. Buyers remorse. However, when I got them home and used them on my laptop, the sound was outstanding. Deep and full bass notes to accompany the already good mid-to-high end.
Summary: 1. I found to get the best out of these I had to purchase after market foam buds which bring out a richer bass, have better noise isolation and stay in your ears better than the silicone tips supplied. At £80 RRP I'd expect foam tips to be in the box along with the silicone buds. 2.
Summary: Got these to replace my missing Shure se110's that went missing. Sounded a bit on the thin side at first but, after the break-in period they really started to shine! Good bass but not overwhelming. Excellent mids and highs. Very accurate sound with good soundstage. In my opinion these are probably one of the best buds out there. I have since found my se110's and tried them to compare then put them away for emergency use only!
Summary: These iem's deliver an accurate sound - the highs are well balanced with the mids. However, the lowend could use a bit more emphasis. Don't expect big bass from these. Considering these are marketed as 'rugged' iem's...you'll here nothing below the 80hz band when doing anything relatively physical.
Summary: I purchased these as replacements for when I'm out on my bike. I find they stay in better than normal ones. The sound quality is brilliant but I have found them uncomfortable to wear for long periods.
Summary: I bought these to replace a pair of Ultimate Ears in-ear monitors whose cable had failed a second time, and my experience thus far has been good, but not wonderful. The strengths of these headphones can be summarised thus: they fit comfortably and isolate you quite effectively from outside noise; and the sound is clear, well-balanced and easy to listen to across a wide variety of styles of music.
Summary: At first they were amazing but then ...... It just didn't sound right , the sound was too sharp and it hurts ! I didn't expect it from a top brand but I dunno ....it could just be mine , another thing is they look nice however it does feel risky to use in a casual days use, tbh if u want to get these be my guest there not bad but there not wow ! Either just my opinion, and I do kind of now a bit about music so yeah....
