Summary: I've used headphones that had 90% of everything these headphones provide for $40. But noise cancellation is vastly superior so its almost worth the upgrade.
Pros: The sound is truly amazing, noise cancellation is quite surprising. Very sleek and compact, love the carrying case. The bass is perfect, not too imposing and crystal clear sound. Ideal for in-flight or commute use. I live in NYC and use the subway regularly, it dramatically reduces brake and ambience noise and practically eliminates the train noise.
Cons: They look like they're made of cheap plastic material, feel like they'll brake easily if someone was to accidentally sit on them even on a sofa. The sound of the bass sounds different when you use the different size ear buds. I couldn't find the ideal size amongst the three provided so had to compromise a little. Although they are quite comfortable overall, After having them on for more than an hour, the discomfort hurts your ears...but thats probably true for most in...
Cons: This product certainly doesn't mirror its fine brand name. Experts highly rated this product. However, many user reviews were divided by too "tinny" or too "bassy" but not both. Listening pleasure is subjective, but there are some universals we all would agree are needed for good enjoyable sound. The pair I bought was too tinny, no depth or warmth. This product was tried on a variety of devices along with headphones in the same price range for comparison. It did not m...
Never thought I'd pay this much for earbuds - but it was worth it
18 June 2010
Summary: I got these to replace my ipod earbuds that were disintegrating. I wanted something that was higher quality and was surprised at the apparent price I had to pay for something so small. But you definitely get what you pay for. Make sure you don't do what I did for a week and wear the earbuds reversed left to right. It seemed somehow intuitive to me that the Klipsch logo should be showing on the outside of the earbud, but that is not the case.
Pros: Clear and crisp highs. Solid midrange, and strong, but not overpowering bass. Very comfortable most of the time. Very good sound isolation (you won't hear much of anything in the outside world with music playing even at low volumes).
Cons: If you don't get an absolutely perfect fit with the included set of 3 ear piece sizes it may grow uncomfortable over long periods of listening (over a few hours, or large amounts of use over a period of a week in my experience). For me the medium size is too small to make a good seal, but the large fits, however the large puts a very small amount of pressure at both points of contact which creates a dull pain after a while, as noted above. It doesn't detract from the ...
Summary: Thanks also to Newegg for all my computer & electronics needs!
Pros: These Earbud Headphones are amazing. When comparing these to other headphones, they speak for themselves. I use these with my Nokia 5800 Music Express Smart Phone and all I can say is WoW! You get what you pay for, but this time I got a lot more. I don't need to go into technical detail, but anyone who purchases these will be pleased. Thanks Klipsch!
Summary: Personally the comfort level matters most to me because I listen for hours on end while I'm at work. If it weren't for the low level "whish" This would score 5 eggs.
Pros: These are by far the most comfortable ear buds I have ever worn and really seals out ambient noise. You can really hear the highs and lows as well as some bass, (for you bass heads I would recommend something else). Wiring is adequate and has a small adjuster to keep it tightly closer to your head and from swinging around.
Cons: Wire easily tangles, and I'm not sure if it's just me but when I listen to music at really low levels, I hear a soft fuzzy whish that's constant, kinda like when you see static on old school T.V's, Imagine that sound but really soft and only at low levels. Again I could be the only one hearing this seeing as the other reviewers did not have that issue. All of these are nit picky and shouldn't deter you from trying these out.
Pros: These headphones are pretty close to perfect as far as I'm concerned. They are small, provide excellent sound quality and noise cancellation, and they fit well without coming loose. Concerns over the cord being fragile are misplaced, as long as you're not expecting to get in a knife fight while wearing these you'll be just fine. Much better than my Shure e-2C headphones, fit is better and overall sound quality is much smoother. The bass is refreshingly balanced and do...
Cons: Not much at this point, I'll update later if something comes up.
Summary: I'v really tried to like these headphones. They're extremely comfortable and create a great seal, keeping unwanted noise out. But for $80, on it's primary function of providing good quality sound, it just doesn't deliver. Sound from almost any source or type of music always has a harsh scratchy sound. I've tried CDs, mp3s, Phonograph, music ranging from classical, punk, metal, pop, big band, lots and lots of types of music.
Pros: Very comfortable, stylish.
Cons: Harsh highs. Way too bright of a sound. Bass CAN kick in, but will muddy the midranges.
Summary: People worry about the wire's durability because of its thinness, but I have had these for a few months now. I take it to the gym all the time, and accidentally pull on it all the time with the weights, so far nothing snapped.
Pros: Great sound quality, pretty comfortable, stays in my ear as long as I'm not running around. Great value for quality ear buds.
Summary: Beck and Cake - strong bass lines, crisp auxiliary percussion, distinct guitar and vocals Eagles - Hotel California Live Acoustic - many layers and parts all reproduced clearly Black Eye Peas - Good bass, not overpowering Purposely picked some different songs and genres to test these things out and they held up to everything.
Pros: I was literally instantly impressed with the excellent sound quality. These things do a great job of producing a full and balanced range of sounds. My Bose in ear recently self destructed and I first bought Purebuds based on good reviews and they were AWFUL. These earbuds far exceed the Purebuds and sound even better than the Bose did. Really I can't say enough about the sound quality across music genres. I'm very impressed.
Cons: None really but the way they fit in your ear is so snug and created such a tight seal it's a little weird at first. After a couple days I've just now gotten used to it. It's like they create a vacuum in your ear which can almost feel like a little pressure but wiggle them around until they're comfy and it's fine. They produce sounds so distinctly I can hear the blips and static over my mediocre Pandora connection.
