Summary: did not buy at newegg because i had a best buy giftcard but other wise i would have because newegg is the best. people are saying these are not durable but mine have been through the wash twice.
Pros: awesome sound quality when burned in especially compared to beats or bose great punchy base most comfortable iems ever made lightweight durable(cord is questionable) mine have been through the wash twice
Cons: cord is somewhat flimsy attract a lot of wax can fatigue ears after long periods
Summary: *** This is a person pet peeve...don't tell other people that these have horrible sound quality if you are listening to some low quality audio file rather than a CD or a lossless file. ITunes quality is getting better, but it is nowhere near lossless. If you have a complaint about quality, listen to a real CD or lossless file before making final judgement. 1.
Pros: Audio reproduction is fantastic. You will be hard pressed to find another pair of in-ears anywhere near this price that uses micro-speakers that sounds this good. Very good tight bass without any sacrifice to the upper end of the spectrum.
Cons: Like other people have mentioned, the cable quality definitely leaves plenty to be desired.
Summary: I've had a very bad experience with these headphones and as such will personally not be buying Klipsch again. I'm now on my third pair of the the S4A (II)'s - the version specifically for Android smartphones. All three developed the same issue, losing sound in one channel. There appears to be a significant design flaw in the cable as in all three cases I was wither walking along with the phone in pocket or doing another everyday activity like mowing the lawn and the...
Pros: Sounds half decent, bass not too woolly and treble not too harsh
Cons: Cable will fail you, even if you treat it like it an angel. Cost doesn't reflect quality.
Summary: My dad once once told me that you have to hear good songs at what he called "proper volume". These provide that and so much more. For me, these buds have earned their keep many times over in sheer "audio nirvana". If you are hard on your gear these might not last you long, but properly maintained this set of buds will provide many, many hours of audio bliss for the purchaser
Pros: Incredible sound for the price. I use them with my music collection on my laptop (MSI 17" - Also a great purchase from New Egg) and these things will blast my ears out if I turn it up loud enough, which I often do. Compared to 20-50 dollar buds these are a revelation. If you like your music loud, yet with all the clarity and detail that enthusiasts desire, you should check these out !
Cons: Some reviews have said the wires are thin and flimsy. I have owned mine since august 2009, It's now April 2011 - I have always taken care of mine, and I am as 100 % stoked with my purchase today as the first day they arrived !
Summary: sorry newegg, i got these at a local store bacause i had 75$ in gift Cards there, but worth every penny. they do take time to break in. it takes about a hour or 2 for the break in period. not to bass heavy eather. ware these as over the ear headphones, and have the body of the bud in your ear. it may seem not right, but it is. if that does not work, flip the buds, the left on the right, and the right on the left.
Pros: 1. These are not muddy sounding AT ALL 2. they work PERFECTLY when worn/used correctly 3. passive noise isolation is spot on 4. does not kill your ears after hours of usage 5. audiophile quality
Cons: 1. takes some time to break in the mini speakers. 2. Price is some what high, but worth it. 3. falls out some times, when not worn correctly 4. can be hard to put in
Summary: The cord is flimsy when you compare it to beats by Gaga which has a thick strong cord for frequent use, but it wins over comfort. Personally, I would trade quality over comfort and go with Beats for the same price.
Pros: Does isolate noise, if you turn up the volume until everything else is tuned out. The cord is long and cushions are shaped according to the ear depth and shape and sit very well. I bought it with free shipping and a rebate so It came up to about $90. Good price at the time.
Cons: This is a good quality product, but when compared to Beats by Gaga (I tried a friend's), it doesn't compare with noise isolation or quality, but is much louder. At the time, they were both around $90. So it doesn't compare to competition.
Summary: Owned a bunch of different headphones. Tried out some of the Bose ones from different friends. DO NOT GET BOSE. If you don't like these, Bose isn't a good option, extremely over priced for so-so performance, look elsewhere. Tried a wide variety of Skullcandy's, a couple high-end Bose sets, and some others blah blah blah. Broke these in and listened to a high quality audio file and it beat them all.
Pros: Very clear spectrum. Awesome bass without overpowering the clear mids and extremely crisp highs. Silicon tips make a perfect seal for me, does an exceptional job of blocking out ambient noise and allows for low volume listening (saves the ear drums!). They stay in place and don't move in or out. I would highly recommend these over Bose.
Cons: Haven't encountered any yet if any personally. Little pricey, but after all the other sets I've tried out, these were worth the money. Especially with a gift card =]
