Klipsch Image One Review

Digitaltrends
23 May 2011
  • Conclusion: The Klipsch Image One are a dazzling sounding set of headphones that we feel offer punchy, extended bass and clear, articulate treble. We found them to be very comfortable over moderate listening sessions and only slightly less so for longer periods of wear. An included iPhone microphone and cable controls are nice features, as is the included storage case that allows for an easy fit.
  • Pros: Powerful, punchy bass, Zesty highs, Comfortable ear pads, Good sounding iPhone mic
  • Cons: Shrouded midrange, Some pressure fatigue during extended wear

What Hi-Fi?
24 January 2012
  • Excerpt: All the Klipsch headphones listed in our Buyer's Guide have one thing in common: they're in-ear designs. These Image Ones are the first on-ear design we've heard from the American company, and it's used the additional surface area to pile on the perceived value. Build quality is reassuring, for instance, and the large ear-cups are trimmed in a chrome'n'leather combo that wouldn't shame a Lexus interior.
  • Pros: Lavishly finished, generally composed and balanced sound
  • Cons: Except in the bass, which threatens to capsize the whole thing
