Summary: I had to write a review to counter Kevin G.'s review. These are really good IEMs when used correctly. You pretty much have to use Comply tips to make these things work. The silicone tips won't stay in my ears and there's a bunch of driver flex when they're used.
Pros: Great bass and treble extension. Nice wide soundstage with good imaging when using a good source. Great build quality.
Cons: Poor fit for my ears with included silicone tips. Driver flex with included silicone tips. Comply tips (which are included with later versions) work great at fixing both the fit and driver flex issues. They are pretty mandatory for me to get a decent seal.
Summary: I got interested in HI-FI audio from borrowing a pair of beats headphones. I was so impressed that I bought my own, but later found that I needed something low profile. I saw these on sale and spent hours reading and watching reviews before deciding to buy.
Pros: I cant think of any
Cons: Heavy and uncomfortable on the ear. They kept falling out even though I adjusted them and used the smallest nibs. The volume wasn't very high and I only experienced bass when I jammed them deep into my ear canal.
Pros: Sound quality is great, I didn't expect to see that sound in such a little and not expansive headphones, good surprise. The construction has space for improvement but in general very comfortable and easy to use and carry in the supplied case.
Summary: This is an amazing product. However, it has a learning curve on how to mount it properly, you actually supposed to use both hands on each side. It's no big deal, but, you have to learn on how to do it properly, and it does not say in the accompany user's guide.
Pros: excellent sound quality for its type. It is REALLY important you watch the video at the manufacturer's web site on how to mount the headphone properly. After I done that, the sound quality is excellent, and the headphone is well worth the money.
Cons: A learning curve on mounting the headphone. It's not intuitive. Without proper mount, the sound is shallow and the phone is uncomfortable.
Pros: These sound absolutely amazing, very clear an detailed sound. The bass is deep yet really tight and controlled, the mids and highs are very natural. With aftermarket tips they are really comfortable.
Cons: The stock tips were very uncomfortable and were hard to get a good seal. Once I got some comply tips they seal easily and are very comfortable.
Summary: The following summarizes my impressions of these. Lookwise- clean modern design but nowhere as attractive or funky as others in this price range. Comfort - not too bad but not as good as Sennheiser or Apple Sound Quality - good, but not the best Accessories included - great, contains adaptor for...
Summary: These are excellent earphones but I wonder if they are worth the money. They are very comfortable and have a bit to loop over your ear to hold them in place, this also makes it easy to know which ear they should fit as I always get that muddled.
