Summary: For reference the only other pair of IEM's worth noting are Kilpsch S4' with triple flange tips.
These normally go for around $200 brand new, I got mine like new, for $115! I was originally going to buy Yamaha EPH100's but it was a fight between the Brits and the Japanese, Brits won, I was thinking about Top Gear... Having previously only listened to one pair of KEF speakers at my local Fry's I thought they were going to sound like absolute soul-less junk.
Summary: This is my first review here. Previously owned Beyerdynamic DT 770 , Audio-Technica m20, Sennheiser Momentum on-ear. Stil have a pair of AKG k450.
I exchanged Sennheiser Momentum on-ear for those headphones. They were brand new, unused. I use them with Fiio x3.
First impressions- solid aluminum build, very light, even the rubber band that goes behind the ear looks very sturdy. Nice little carry box and plane adapter.
Pros: beautiful detailed and clear sound, great bass, mids and highs, build quality
Cons: a little hard to fit for those with small ears( foam tips needed), expensive
Summary: it take some time to fit these properly
one of a kind sound
great mids and highs, female vocal is good, male vocal a bit thin.
At this price range, you can not get better bass, its the kind of not tight moving coil bass, the amount and the extension is out of the world.
Pros: build quality, Transparency of sound, BBBAAASSSSSSSSSSS
Summary: I purchased these earphones a couple of weeks ago and have had the urge to write a review. However, I needed too make sure that they were fully "burned" and used in different environments to see how they performed before taking the plunge.
This is my first ever headphone review, so please bear with me - I can't say that I know all the right terms or generate scientific diagrams and charts, but what you will read is an honest account.
I hope you enjoy it...
Pros: Comfort - very light, Design - original, Sound Quality - good soundstage and very detailed
Disappointing. And that's from a huge fan of KEF's products.

Summary: I was really, really disappointed with these. I'm a huge fan of KEF's speakers and first impressions were great. Nicely packaged with a decent and very small carry case. Build quality seems good, they're light weight and the black arms are a rubbery type of material that's quite easy to bend around the ear.
Summary: The following summarizes my impressions of these. Lookwise- clean modern design but nowhere as attractive or funky as others in this price range. Comfort - not too bad but not as good as Sennheiser or Apple Sound Quality - good, but not the best Accessories included - great, contains adaptor for using in aeroplane, a handy box, different size earbuds In short, these are not spectacular considering the price they sell for.
Summary: If you are an Apple Person who flies alot and doesn't wear glasses than these earphones could be the best thing since sliced bread! However, I have an Android phone and the controls don't work althought the sound quality is great. Worked fine on iPod. I also wear glasses and I found and I am afraid I gave up with adjustment battle - I think my glasses won! I couldn't get the earpieces to stay put - if I held them in place the sound was really good.
Summary: I love these headphones and can't recommend them enough. Great design, real headturners. I have had three people on the tube ask me where i got them in a week!! Work perfectly with my iPhone 4S and sound better than anything i have ever owned - a massive upgrade from the cruddy Apple ones i had before. Well done Kef.

Summary: OK, I tried these out after falling in love with the Kef M500 headset thinking that these would be similar if not b etter and perhaps better for wearing when I was out and about with my music. After all they'd be less bulky, be easier to keep on me when I removed them and of course would give me the same quality that I received from the M500. Sadly this was not the case for a number of reasons.
