Summary: I purchased my first pair of these JVC gems and they worked so much better than my ten year old Radio Shack brand wireless earphone: bigger range, less static, stronger signal, more comfortable, more convenient no power cord to plug in to charge... just set 'em in their cradle. I liked them so much for TV viewing I bought a second pair for my second TV.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Summary: Bought these wireless wonders to replace a 12 year old brown set of Radio Shack phones of similar intent. These look much better and you don't have to plug in a little recharge wire... these charge when you set them on their base. After 3 months they still work as dvertised and setup was easy.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Value, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: My husband stays up late watching TV and his hearing isn't what it used to be & my hearing is super sensitive. The higher volume levels coming from the Living Room kept me from going to sleep many nights. These headphones are the PERFECT SOLUTION for us. The sound quality is very good for the TV.....I've even used them (but don't tell my husband!
Summary: Head set sounds awesome except for the very noticeable hum. No matter if base station is plugged to the audio device or not the hum is heard. Changing head set channels makes no difference. Only at very low volume is the hum eliminated and that defeats the purpose of using a head set. Don't buy it until JVC fixes it.
Summary: Headphone states good up to 164 feet, couldn't leave the room without loosing signal. Ambient noise and cracks in background only 6 feet from base. Unit just shuts off by itself. A total waste of plastic.
Cons: Can't Walk Out Of Room, Poor Sound, Poor Value, Static On 6 Ft Away, Too Much Ambient Noise
Summary: This was meant to be used while watching tv in bed. The tv was only 10 feet away but there was so much static that you couldn't listen to it. Tried various settings but nothing worked. Returned the headsets for a refund.
Summary: Had the item shipped to store. Received email that it had been delivered. When I arrived store employees didn't know what I was talking about and sent me to a different store that didn't know what I was talking about. Went back to original store and had to convince them to look in the back. At which point they found it.
