Excellent design but can't use as they hurt my ears

Summary: I'm amending this review because I've had these for a few months now. They look and feel great and I was really happy with them at first but after using them for some time I've found that they hurt my ears so much I can't use them for more than fifteen minutes at a time.
Summary: I felt compelled to write this review. I do not write reviews but after listening to the tune that is my acid test for headphones and speakers alike as the bass gets lost in a sea of vibration - going in for the kill by la roux (skreams let's get ravey remix)- I am really impressed.
Summary: Chose these for commuting based on reviews and overall I'm happy with them. On occasion, they can make my ears a bit sore, but it feels like I just haven't mastered getting them in the right way yet. Found correct ear pad makes a huge difference.
Summary: I already have a pair of Sennheiser PX360 and Pioneer CLX50 - both of which I love and recommend. But I wanted a pair of traditional in ear headphones with a proper over the head design, but with decent sound quality. Why?
