  • Summary: I went around for about 2 weeks looking for a good pair of headphones. Let me tell you many of these headphones out on the market especially the top of the line "Beats" have very good sound, However what I was looking for was a headphones with quality sound yet one which I could where for a very long time. Most headphones start pinching your head after about 1 hour especially the "Beats". I would take these headphones over the most expensive "Beats".

  • Summary: First I bought the JVC HARX700 as the reviews were very good, the set looked comfortable and the sale price put it at around 32 bucks. I was pleased with the sound. A few weeks later I became curious and tried the 900. The sound was sooooooo much cleaner, less distortion-just like comparing a great receiver to an average one. The music sounds much better with less noise, so much less noise that you can play it louder and it won't bother your ears.

  • Summary: Decent sound for the price. For the high end sound you would want to look at a higher end product. I was a little surprised at how large these were. It was hard to tell from the picture online and they reminded me first of a helicopter pilot headset.

  • Summary: yes, they're big, but read the name of what you're buying - "full size".
  • Pros: - excellent sound reproduction, great deep bass and very good middle tones and treble,
  • Cons: - absolutely none. i'm no longer in market for Senheisers.

Not bad

Graham K., Newegg

  • Summary: Buy em
  • Pros: Burned in for day or two and they sound beautiful. music and games are more full without rocking down the house with floor speakers. I work Mids and keeping the house quiet while I game and such is very important but I also like to listen to the TV/games/music at more then a faint whisper.
  • Cons: None

Excellent

  • Pros: I've got to say I'm astonished with how comfortable these are. I read a review where someone said they fit tight on people with large heads, but I've got a head like a pumpkin and I could leave these on for hours.
  • Cons: None from me so far

Solid monitor headphones

Joshua M., Newegg
1 January 2013
  • Summary: Wanted a solid pair of headphones at a decent price. These headphones perform well through all ranges, and are extremely clear. I love them.
  • Pros: Very clear through all ranges, big ear pads, and dampens a lot of exterior sound.
  • Cons: Very high resistance (ohms) so they exaggerate extreme volume variations and require a lot of juice. Not recommended for battery driven devices. A little light on the low end, but easily compensated for from source device.

These things are awsome!

Steve L., Newegg
26 December 2012
  • Pros: I've only had the ear phones for a few hours, and they keep getting better and better as I use them. If you got a good sound card you can really hear the quality.
  • Cons: I can't hear when other people sneak up on me.
