Summary: Decent sound for the price. For the high end sound you would want to look at a higher end product. I was a little surprised at how large these were. It was hard to tell from the picture online and they reminded me first of a helicopter pilot headset.
Pros: Burned in for day or two and they sound beautiful. music and games are more full without rocking down the house with floor speakers. I work Mids and keeping the house quiet while I game and such is very important but I also like to listen to the TV/games/music at more then a faint whisper.
Pros: I've got to say I'm astonished with how comfortable these are. I read a review where someone said they fit tight on people with large heads, but I've got a head like a pumpkin and I could leave these on for hours.
Pros: Very clear through all ranges, big ear pads, and dampens a lot of exterior sound.
Cons: Very high resistance (ohms) so they exaggerate extreme volume variations and require a lot of juice. Not recommended for battery driven devices. A little light on the low end, but easily compensated for from source device.
Excerpt: The Harx 900 has been an amazing pair of headphones for me. I liked them so much that I ended up buying another pair of them after my first set broke from falling off a high dresser 10 times to many. The bass is pretty decent and the overall sound quality is great for music and movies. I recommend these to anyone who is a chronic headphone breaker like myself who can't afford to spend more than 60ish bucks on a pair of headphones.
