Pros: I bought these in July because I needed a new set after my wonderful Grado SR60s gave out, and I couldn't be happier. They produce maybe just one hair less amazing sound quality but for the price I'm truly impressed. The build quality is superb, and they have the longest cord that I've ever had in a set of cans.
Summary: This pair of headphones are great for video games as well as music. They demolish competition for all headphones within its price range and a bit higher price range. PROS: These headphones a very great sounding(with video games, music, TV, etc) and are the best I've ever had. They are comfortable(only one problem in comfort). Also these headphones are HUGE and I mean huge, full sized headphones.
Summary: I first shopped local big box retailers for a good set of stereo headphones...and saw a lot of others in the $100-175 range from the typical popular makers. I was browsing Amazon.com and came across the JVC HARX700 headphones and thought the price was so attractive it was certainly worth giving them a try...low risk gamble. WOW what great sound these put out. Are they as good as the top end headphones? No.
Summary: Well I finally believe in this burn in thing but I think most of the stuff is hype ,I love these JVC HA-RX700 ,I needed Rock Headphones ,they sounded oood out of the box but now with a tiny bit of modding(did I say modding ???)ok a few cotton balls in the ear cups to fully appreciate the bass everything sounds good but watch for hype I got these for $29 and I listened to the JVC HA-RX900 also but needing rock headphones opted for the 700s since the difference in price...
Summary: First off, I am no expert on Music or Electronics, but I do know when something sounds good or bad and these headphones sound GOOD! Yes they are very BIG, but thats not a problem. If you looking for a really great pair of headphones these are the ones. I put my favorite cd on and it was AMAZING, you will be blown away! Best $50.00 I have ever spent. Plus you can buy them here on Amazon and if you don't like them just send them back.
Summary: Very good set of headphones. They sound great, not muddy at all or excessive in mids, lows, or highs. Perfect balance of all of them. They do get hot sometimes are are pretty bulky, but that is to be expected of over the ear headphones.
Summary: Let me start by saying this is my first real foray into the over the ear, don't call 'em cans, headphones. That said, maybe my expectations are unrealistic. Let me explain... These are gigantic. All the reviews say they are big, so I was warned, but man, they are so big I can't put them down around my neck if I needed to talk w/ someone b/c the phones are still halfway up my chin.
Summary: My dad wanted a new pair of headphones for his birthday, but said he didn't want anything over $50. These headphones were the best I found. The sound is very good, and the build is quite sturdy. If you only have $50 to spend, don't waste your money on anything else.
