Summary: My problem obviously has not happened to many other folks, so you might love them!
Pros: They sound really good and canceled the fan noise from my HD projector quite well.
Cons: After watching a movie for 50 minutes the night before, I woke up with a ringing in my ears the next morning. A kind of a faint version of what happens after going to a club with really loud music. I'm paying the restocking fee to return them!
Excerpt: As the sales pitch says, these headphones really do offer great sound and effective noise canceling, and are more than comfortable for a cross country flight. BUT - the 4 foot stereo mini-phone plug to stereo mini-phone plug cable that connects the headset to your iPod/CD player/etc.

Summary: Don't buy these. Sound is meh for cans of this price, and it becomes muffled and unbeareably bad if you turn off noise cancellation. Noise cancellation is bad. Acute, strong noises (like a voice in a loudspeaker in the tube) will be distorted and become unbearably painful when NC is on.
Summary: In short: They are good, but next time I want to try something else. The usual caveat is, don't expect that this kind of devices will isolate from anything around you. I find them useful in two situations - moderate noise, like on the train, good for commuting - enable comfortable conversation when...
Summary: Wanted to replace a previous purchase of noise cancelling headphones. (previously Bose QC3 - had two pairs in 6 months both stopped working, with the left speaker giving out no sound) After much research I bought these as they were highly ranked on one of the review websites, and less than half the...
Summary: Aunque la calidad de sonido es muy buena, resultan tremendamente cómodos y confortables, la función de cancelación de ruido no es en absoluto efectiva; es más se percibe un ligero ruido adicional producido (supongo) por la electrónica interna.
