Failed in less than 6 months

Anndrew D., Newegg
30 August 2014
  • Summary: I tried to get some kind of warranty information, but it seems like JVC does not provide an explicit warranty. It's too bad, it was a nice set of headphones, but now I'll be cautious before a buy another JVC product.
  • Pros: While it worked, it provide decent performance in a small package.
  • Cons: It failed after only 8 hours of use. The noise cancellation feature started to fluctuate, so I replaced the battery. After several batteries, I had to admit that it was just broken. It works intermittently which too annoying to be useful.

Well designed, geat buy

  • Excerpt: I have had to throw away a number of headphones with permanently attached cords that plug into an mp3. The problem is always that the cord breaks down, usually around the plug, so I only get sound in one ear. This headphone sounds great and has a cord that detaches, and I presume that it can be replaced. So the headphones should last much longer.
  • Pros: Connects Easily, Fits well in ear, Good Sound, Noise Cancellation

OK Headphones, OK Noise cancelling

  • Excerpt: These did help reduce the lower frequencies on a transatlantic flight. They fit on the ear quite well and were not too uncomfortable. But I think that the Bose Noise cancellation is better although I only tried it in store, but for the price I am happy with these.

  • Excerpt: Very good quality, I like them a lot. Even my 19 yr old daughter who only uses ear buds, turned a new leaf. She says she doesn't like "cheap" headphones. Now she always wanting to use mine. As, for noise cancelling, use only for "trains and planes". Otherwise, turn up the music, they will do some "noise cancelling.

  • Excerpt: I didn't really believe that noise-cancelling headphones could dampen airplane noise, but I wanted to try anyway. These are great! The noise does not go away completely, but it is significantly reduced. These are easy to tote and are a good value for the money.
  • Pros: Clear Signal, Connects Easily, Good Sound, Lightweight, Noise Cancellation
