  • Excerpt: Although I had an issue with the first pair I received, These headphones pound. Pretty even sound, kind of requires mid boost. Insane bass. B&h has the bed customer service!!

  • Summary: Beats by Dre Studios were my first foray into Bass headphones. I come from the Car Audio side and competed in IASCA events  SPL, dB drags and Sound clarity.   My purchase of Beats was a purely as homage to a great Hip Hop producer who I thought wouldn't sign off on his name being on anything that was crap. They weren't "crap" but they were way over priced and fragile.    I live in Japan and there are some huge "Denki" shops. Electronic goods superstores.
  • Pros: Pull up the lowest end of audible spectrum
  • Cons: Big. cannot remove cord,

  • Excerpt: Nice low end, crisp highs. My only issue is that it comes with an 1/8 pin jack only - no 1/4" jack.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Great Sound, Stylish
  • Cons: One Type Of Jack

absolutely love xtreme xplosives headphones

  • Summary: absolutely love xtreme xplosives headphones, ive now got two pairs, well... i had two pairs, my little lad is forever using my others with his tablet, i dont blame him, theyre comfy and isolate you from outside sound very well, this is the dj version, with swivelling earpieces and connecting cable on just one side, it has some metal parts where the size is adjustable, so looks like it may be hardwearing, at the price i paid im well happy, with everything, about them

Excellent, but not as comfortable as hoped

Emils, Amazon

  • Summary: Powerfull and all round great headphones. Only 2 downsides. Wire on the left headphone was rattling a bit in the beginning. After I pulled it a bit downwards, the rattling stopped. They are quite heavy and are a bit too large for me, although I haven't had adjustment problems with any other headphones that I owned in past. Otherwise sound quality is awesome and I would definitely recommend them.

Good for DJs but absoloutely not good for the outside

Maciej, Amazon
29 December 2014
  • Summary: The headphones are very big, plays well by laptop, not by smartphone. Good for DJs but absoloutely not good for the outside. They are MASSIVE and heavy. Bass could be more deep.
