Summary: I expected these headphones to be far more durable and last at least year based on the cost. Anyone who pays this price for headphones would expect the same.
Pros: Long cord, comfortable on my large head, good sound
Cons: I only got to use the headphones once. My children managed to twist the headphones enough to mangle them beyond repair in less than an hour while listening on their iPod. The weak-points are the twin arms that fold and hold the speaker portion to the headband. They cracked at mid-point and snapped off.
Pros: great sound quality and the headphones them self are built great!
Cons: ..... the wires are terrible, i was listening to them today and the headset fell off my head, when i went to grab them then wire underneath the coating about 6 inches down from the headpiece broke, i tried to reconnect them and solder thinking it would be a quick fix, nope, now the right ear piece won't work.
Summary: The JVC HA M750's were my first "real" pair of headphones. Previously, I had just used iPod headphones and cheap 10 dollar headphones from my local grocery store. As such, I was very impressed by them. When I turned music on full volume, you could feel the cans shaking - a pretty cool experience that even my ATH M50's can't match. Interestingly, I originally got these headphones so that I could play video games, not listen to music..
Pros: For the money, one of the better headphones. Compares favorably even to beats. Excellent, powerful bass. Does not leak sound
Cons: Fragile. Cord is extremely thin, and susceptible to breaking (as mine did). Slightly sacrifices midtones and trebles (not "sharp")
Summary: Bought these at a local store for $60, don;t know where they got the $99.99 for the was price from. Replaced with a pair of JVC HA-RX900s, I would recommend just buying those for only $7 more once they are back is stock(out of stock at time of writing) the sound is better, and they seem to be much more resilient.
Pros: Amazing sound, these things will blow you away with the quality of the sound for the price. Great bass. Put these side by side with a friends Audio-Technica ATH M50, couldn't tell the difference.
Cons: After heavy use for 10 months the hinge broke on one side, so I taped it up and continued using. Read online that this is a common problem at around 6 months, I guess I got lucky with 10. Could only take a star off for that, the sound quality makes up for it.
Summary: I got this pair of headphones in February 2012. On purchasing them they looked pretty flimsy but were comfortable and had very nice, warm bass for the price. They are still going strong now, two and a half years later, despite having travelled around with me on several holidays, often with lots of heavy stuff on top of them. Definitely more durable than they look. Sound quality is still very good. This was a great frugal purchase in hindsight!
Summary: As much as I enjoyed these while they lasted within little under 2 months they are already broke due to the plastic breaking on the wire, they are also really tight to wear. Really disappointing.
