Summary: I was a little nervous spending this much on a pair of headphones, but after Listening to these, I'm really glad I didn't skimp out on cheap phones. I would not hesitate to buy these again.
Pros: These JVC phones are Outstanding. They have crystal clear highs, good mids, and solid bass. The driver appears to be the same as the FXC50, but has slightly brighter highs, and a much, much wider soundstage. They are comfortable, I can wear them for hours without my ears hurting. Isolation is average to slightly above average. I feel JVC scored a homerun with these.
Cons: Limited to the tips they come with. With the unique shape of the micro HD driver, I havent found any replacement tips that fit correctly, however the phones do come with 3 sets of buds.
Summary: I am used to using expensive headphones but needed, for a short time, a pair of in ear phones.I ordered these and have to say that the sound quality surprised me.Its very good and I think the phones are very good value for money.
Summary: I bought these off the back of the reviews, and I'm not disappointed. Supremely comfortable with clear, crisp sound. I would however like a stronger bass response, hopefully this will deepen with use. Their first test was Jean Michel Jarre's Aero. Jarre is the master of using space, and these phones really deliver, giving the impression that the music is almost inside your head, with sounds clearly seperated and coming from behind, infront, above and below, as well as...
Summary: High quality build, high quality sound and I also lieked the packaging. Only problem I found was the wire, gets tangled very easily and then is a pain to untangle...The sound leakage isn't too bad either which is a huge plus for me as it means it isn't playing out my music to the rest of the train when i use public transport.
Summary: I've been using these for about two weeks now and I've gotta say I'm very pleased with the purchase;) While I can't say I've ever owned a set of most expensive ones like bose or what not and can't really compare with those I used my fair share of mid range earphones and these are by far the best.
Summary: Well, I am a bit of a bargain hunter when it comes to earphones..... These are great. Good build, good extras, great sound... Not as good as the Klipsh S3's at blocking out sound.....Why only klipshe have the sense to make oval shaped ear plug is beyond me....more comfortable and better noise isolation... Anyway, if Amazon are the cheapest then I always buy from Amazon. Unfortuntely for Amazon you can buy these from ASDA for only 19.00!!!!!.....an absolute steal...
Summary: After 18 months with my sennheiser cx380s i have struggled to find a decent pair of earphones under £50. After having and returning a pair of skullcandy titans and a pair of sony earphones i stumbled over these. I did have a quick check of the reviews before i bought them and even then bought with trepidation. I was definatley not dissapointed. The burn in did take a while. Ut once they did the sound was crisp and clear and just enough bass.
Summary: With Headphones, I have always stuck with Sennheiser, until now. These replaced my old ear canal Senns and they knock them into a cocked hat. The depth and clarity is wonderful and listening to plays and quiet movements in music is a pleasure. Listening to 'Private Peacefull'on Radio 4 in the surround sound download was astonishing. I can't recommend these highly enough, as they have increased my listening pleasure more than I could have hoped.
