Summary: Used with ipod touch... purchased from Amazon.com. This set comes with various sized silicon ear pieces so fit is no problem and cord construction appears durable... but those are only positive things about these earbuds. Sound is very tinny with poor bass... even with ipod equalizer bass range cranked up. Very disappointing! The cheap earbuds I got with my dell computer sound better.
Summary: Agree with some other reviews that the sound is great once you get them in the right place, pushed flush up against your ear in order to maximize the bass. It takes a bit of time to put them in and adjust the cords around your ears, making it tough to pull them in and out, i.e. if you're at the gym and want to talk to someone.
Summary: These are the best headphones I have ever used. JVC is a great company and I plan to buy all of my headphones from them. These headphones are definitely worth the money. These are high quality headphones. Pros: - Great Sound Quality - Deep Bass - Great Sound Isolation - They Don't Fall Out (around the ear design) - Many Buds To Fit Your Ear - Beautiful Cons: - A Little Hard To Put In (minor) - Nothing Else
Summary: I purchased these headphones as I have previously owned Denon AH-C551K In-Ear Headphone and Sony MDR-EX71SL Fontopia In-The-Ear Headphones (Black) , but I lost the first, and my cat chewed the second. I wanted a pair of headphones that were around or under the fifty dollar mark, and came with a case so I could protect them from my dear cat, but not so expensive that if they do get destroyed, I can afford to replace them.
Summary: I had a pair of Shure E2c earphones that I loved, but after a couple years, the cable wore out and they stopped working. I was disappointed because they were not cheap, so I decided to look for a cheaper replacement. After reading good reviews of these JVC earphones on Amazon and Consumer Reports, I bought them with high hopes. I was very disappointed.
Summary: These earphones have the best sound I have experience in a long time, and these have some noise-reduction capabilities. Because of in-ear design, these go comfortably inside the ear. I use them on my Zune and don't have to worry about putting the volume high. I owned the Bose in-ear brand, and in order for me to listen to the music, I had to turn the volume on my Zune to 14; on the contrary, with these ones, it is usually between 8-11, and clear sound.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Summary: Below was my initial 5-star review. I have changed this after receiving a pair that needed lateral pressure on the plug to deliver clear stereo and would completely miss vocal tracks (depending on which audio product I was trying to use it on). I will return and try again - if I receive an excellent replacement, I'll let you know! Outstanding purchase - I have used this through months of punishing workouts in extreme heat and rugged environments.
Summary: I just received these in the mail and plugged them into my iPhone to test them out. I initially bought them because consumer reports rated them #1 (tied with 2 others) and the description of the sound quality was more in line with what I was looking for (punchy bass with really clean treble). They are not a disappointment at all! I got them for $49 off Amazon, and think they are well worth the price.
