Terrible sound quality.

KwinSie, B&H Photo
7 November 2013
  • Excerpt: The plan was to get these as a backup headphones for a trip out of town. But that plan died once listening to these on the way home from buying them. The sound is similar to tying two cans together with a string and talking through them. Bottom line I plan to return these as soon as I get back home from my trip next week.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Value, Lightweight
  • Cons: Poor Sound, Too Much Ambient Noise

If you enjoy colored marshmellows in your ears? Buy these earphones.

jeffreyc581, Ebay
21 April 2013
  • Summary: Hi, If you like hard, tinny sounding music? with a limited frequency range(100-5000HZ) then you may enjoy these earphones. If they sold for $1.98 they would be a rip-off. Pass on this throw away product!

Rubbish sound quality

Kyle N, Amazon
22 July 2014
  • Summary: The worst earphones i have ever used. The sound is tinny as hell and there is hardly any bass at all, poundshop earphones quality put it that way. Do yourselves a favour and get a pair of JVC XX earphones... much better and theyre nearly the same price.

Low Quality feel and Poor Customer Service from JVC

Simon James Ambrose "simon69", Amazon
22 July 2014
  • Summary: The marshmallow pads come off too easily. And don't expect any help from the manufacturers if you want replacement ones - instead of sending them out for free they will try and stiff you for 50% more than what you paid for the headphones themselves : (

Not impressed!!

Trevor Beale, Amazon
16 July 2014
  • Summary: Very flimsy headphones. Mic is faulty and distorted sound. Seems to be a constant humming. Not impressed at all with these headphones. Headphones are being returned as I believe they are faulty. No headphones could be this bad.

DO NOT BUY headphones electrocuted me today

In pain..., Amazon
17 September 2013
  • Summary: Really disappointed with this product. Albeit not the most expensive headphones on the market, I've had them for less than a month and they sparked whilst playing music in my ear, giving me a very painful electric shock, which is now causing me headaches and well as on-going pain from the electric shock. Do yourself a favour and invest in better quality headphones. The sound quality is not very good with these either. All in all 10/10 disappointment.

Faulty

Ebbie Atkins, Amazon
3 July 2013
  • Summary: The wiring is loose and so I have to wiggle it to get them to work properly. Not impressed. May as well have kept my old pair. And they arrived late. Very upset with the purchase, wish I hadn't bothered.

Save your money

Colin Miller, Amazon
24 January 2013
  • Summary: Bought these on the strength of some other review saying a great budget headphones. Save your money cause these are rubbish. You don't get to hear all the things you normally would, but the worst part is the lack of bass. I 'replaced' them with a pair of Klipsch Image S4i Headphones which are way better - you can hear things on records you never noticed before, they're better at staying in ear.
