Excerpt: My big problem with the Jvc earbuds is that they make the box almost impossible. It doesnt open normally. you have to cut it with scissors and use force to ply it open. I think the real reason to getting it open was just that. These earbuds sound like ones that are at least 40 dollars. I recommend these though they are really great and you also get an extra pair of earbud covers incase you lose the ones on the headphones .
Summary: I mainly use them when I'm driving and the mic is really clear. I just wish the was more sizes of cushions that come with it. I have little ears so sometimes it's hard for me find earphones that are comfortable, but for the price, these are OK.
Pros: Good for the price
Cons: I wish there was more variety with the ear cushion sizes
Summary: These JVC earbuds are comfortable, good sound quality, and good non-stick material. They block outside noise and are not heard by outsiders like most earbuds which annoy others with the tinny sounds.
Summary: I gave these 4 stars for a couple of reasons. I got these 3 years ago as back up headphones. They were on sale for $10 at the time. At that price 3 years ago, they were totally worth it. 3 years ago you could not find earbuds with a mic for under $25. I needed the mic, but I did not want to spend $25 for back up earbuds. These lasted almost 3 years as well. Very cheap, bad sounds but durable and highly functional for the price, at that time.
Summary: Use of headset earpieces while driving is illegal in Hawaii. Without headset, device is unusable unless mike is held next to mouth and speaker next to ear...holding device like this is also illegal while driving in Hawaii. Thus constrained, I would lose two hrs each way while driving to/from work.and this is not acceptable. I cannot afford loss of phone for 1/3 of my business day.
Cons: Inability to use while sitting in driver's seat.
