Cons: Darn these things are uncomfortable! I've never had any kind of earbud cause major discomfort but these suckers hurt after a very short time. I can't even really pinpoint what's off about them but my guess is they just have a slightly off-kilter shape and/or are slightly over-sized. I bought into the "gumy" moniker assuming these were designed for comfort and they're exactly the opposite. They flat-out cause pain after only a half hour or so of use, and I can't lay do...
Summary: My iFrogs earbuds recently broke, i've had over 20 pairs of them. I had these when I was 8, tugged them out of the back of my dresser, and they still work in one ear. (The other one fell apart, someone snapped the earbud piece off.) I will definitely be buying them tonight!
Pros: These fit nicely in my ears, and do not cause pain after a long day at work. I have a desk job and listen to these on low, and the sound is made better through these. I've tried original Samsung headphones with the SIII and they still sound bad compared to these JVC's. JVC has always been good with audio in my experience. Great product!
Cons: After awhile they do catch the ear wax and it is difficult to clean. I replaced a pair after 3 years. I think for the cost i got my 3 years worth.
Summary: These headphones provide excellent sound, but they are extremely painful to your ears. I used them once and then I quit because they were hurting my ears so badly. I put them in and once I took them out, my ears hurt for another 2-3 hours. I think they hurt my ears so badly because of the way they are shaped.
