The ear piece broke within two weeks, and it ...

SKS!, Amazon
8 May 2015
  • Summary: The ear piece broke within two weeks, and it seems the microphone has not worked very well, since persons on the other end of calls have complained that they can't hear me unless I actually hold the mike in front of my mouth. I have my doubts this is truly OEM.

Not good for runners

Nicole Soucy, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: I bought these to replace a pair that I had for years. I'm a runner, so regular ear buds don't stay in my ears and I am constantly fussing with them. I like this style, bc the hook over the year allows them to stay in place when I run. These are flimsy, and do not stay on my ear.

Very Uncomfortable for Small ears

Amazon Customer, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: If you have smaller ears, don't buy these. I was exited to receive these earphones, but I was not exited after I tried these headphones on after Christmas. I have Smaller ears, and with the rubber pad you have to jam it in until it fits.

Zero bass, uncomfortable, but not the worst I've ever used.

Jeff, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: Pros: + Decent sound + Stays put fairly well Cons: - Very uncomfortable for extended wear - Almost painfully treble heavy - Zero bass. Like, I'm hearing bass overtones louder than the actual bass. I bought these on a whim from Ross Dress for Less for ~$5.

You can do better for the money

Anonymous, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: For under ten bucks, it seems foolish to complain, but the sound quality on these JVCs is really poor. I'm not an audio snob, and my expectations were really low (they're just for the gym), but these are irritatingly bright -- all treble and no bass -- and the volume is all over the place.

Not a good choice for petite individuals

Amanda Solis, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: The ear clip is not an actual "clip". It is a flimsy, rubber design that sits behind your ear and is easily manipulated. However, I have a small head and small ears so these are big for me. I tried running with them and the "clip" was too loose around my ear even on the tightest setting.

Not a good buy

alexey b., Newegg
13 January 2012
  • Pros: Stays on your ear when running
  • Cons: Sound quality is ok. Bass enhancement is a complete joke, sounds like somebody is farting in ur headphones.

Uncomfortable

Sally A. Eaton, Amazon
1 October 2010
  • Summary: I ordered these because my headphones broke, and I needed good ones I could run with. These sound good, but they are really really uncomfortable to wear. The adjustable part is always adjustable, so they slip off easily, and they hurt my ears. I was hoping it wouldn't be hard plastic, but it is.
