For headphones that cost the £35 I paid for them the sound quality is terrible. I was expecting at least some good bass ...

Mr. B. H. Malin, Amazon
6 January 2015
  • Summary: Gave these 3 stars but really I'm leaning towards 2 or even 1 star as the only strong selling point from them is the cable and reletively attactive look. For headphones that cost the £35 I paid for them the sound quality is terrible.

Not at all as good as I was expecting

Hidden User, Amazon
13 October 2014
  • Summary: Not at all as good as I was expecting. The quality of overall sound may be just above average for a high quality brand of earphone, but unfortunately these were not worth the £37.99 I paid for them.

... these 5 stars as the sound they produce is amazing. These would have been the perfect headphones

Stefan Stefanov, Amazon
9 August 2014
  • Summary: I would give these 5 stars as the sound they produce is amazing. These would have been the perfect headphones, but after 9 months of use (around 1.5 hrs per day) the left channel stopped so now I am returning the item and am considering what to purchase next.

So So

N Landa, Amazon
2 July 2014
  • Summary: Pretty decent earphones, comes well packaged with a lot of accessories, not really worth the price, I've heard better from lower priced earphones. The bass was pretty disappointing and the sound was quite 'screechy', also they are hard to keep in the ear!

No tangles but at what cost?

Angry from Berkhamsted "boywoolner", Amazon
6 April 2014
  • Summary: The sound is good and the cables are virtually impossible to tangle but the flat cables are quite heavy and they always snag on clothing. The weight of the cable seems to pull down on the earphones causing pressure on the ears or the phones to fall out.

Good for balanced sound and android phones

T. Nightingale, Amazon
23 March 2014
  • Summary: Nice sounding earphones with anti-tangle cable that actually works. Not for bassheads as sound is balanced rather than bass heavy. Was disappointed when left speaker failed after 9 months but replaced under warranty without any issue.

Good, but not amazing

MixedPixel, Amazon
10 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought these to replace my JVC Xtreme Xplosives that I thought I'd lost somewhere. They're probably a bit better in terms of sound quality but I'm not so sure about the build quality. I wear earphones while I'm working out, this as you might imagine, gets sweaty.

So-So .

E. Costello, Amazon
16 January 2014
  • Summary: The product description implies that these headphones have a brilliant bass sound . They do not . If that is what you are expecting you will be disappointed . I find JVC XX FAR superior to these as they have a lovely deep bass . VERY disappointed with the Jays - not at all worth the money .

Great earphones but unreliable.

Jadeskye, Amazon
1 November 2013
  • Summary: I've had two replacements now of these otherwise great earphones due to losing audio in the left channel. It's a shame as these produce fantastic sound and dampen an otherwise perfectly good product.

Not that good....

Mr. M. Thornton, Amazon
13 September 2013
  • Summary: Not that impressed by them really. They don't sit comfortably in my ear (regardless of bud used), they leak sound and they are far too bassy. The good thing though is that they don't tangle up in by bag because of the flat cable design.
