a-JAYS One+ Earbuds Review: Impressive Features And Performance - Without A Hit To Your Wallet
3 April 2012
Excerpt: These days, earbuds are a dime a dozen - they can be had for as little as $1 at the dollar store, all the way into the hundreds of dollars for a high-end pair. And sound quality has improved quite a bit since the early days - any buds that are mid-range or better usually offer pretty good sound, so they're differentiated as much by features as by sound quality. That's where the $50 headphones come through: features.
Conclusion: We like the Jays a-JAYS One+, and it's a decent, affordable solution if you're in the market for a new set of in-ear headphones with an integrated hands-free kit.
Pros: The Jays a-JAYS One+ are the latest addition to Jays' in-ear headphone range. They look distinctive, with a hardwearing flat cord rather than the usual and more fragile round connection, and there's an on-cable handsfree kit built-in to let you make and receive phone calls on the move. The Jays a-JAYS One+ is designed to work with a host of different phones and operating systems – letting you answer calls on the iPhone, Android handsets, Windows Phone devices and Blac...
Cons: The bass from the Jays a-JAYS One+ can be slightly overwhelming, drowning out finer details in some of our music. Considering the price, however, the Jays a-JAYS One+ is a good all-round package.
Jays a-JAYS One review: Flat cable bud portable earphones
Electronics Made Easy
10 August 2010
Summary: Compared to competitors like Bose, Sony, and Pioneer, the JAYS company is relatively new to the audio device market, but the a-JAYS One headphones are a great introduction to a fine product line of ear bud sets. Targeted specifically for people who want great quality and performance for an affordable price, this model is one of the best values for the average consumer.
Pros: Features JAYS-engineered 8.6mm dynamic speaker, Excellent consumer value at an affordable price, Flexible, durable 5mm wide flat cable replaces round standard, Versatile 5-size silicone sleeves ensure the perfect fit every time, Limited, entry-level model, but overall great in quality and performance
Excerpt: On the back of my recent review of the a-JAYS Threes , I thought it was worth trying a pair of the lower-end a-JAYS Ones for a back-to-back comparison. I’m a big fan of the a-JAYS Threes and aside from their heady high-end, they are practically faultless. So much of a fan, that should I not be still enjoying the use of my review unit, I would have bought myself a pair. There is no higher sign of approval than the hand over of cold hard cash.
Pros: Awesome sound – punchy & clear; tangle-free cable; great all round ear bud
Cons: Less flexibility than the Three’s with less accessories; “fettuccine” cable has a tendency to hang at an odd angle from your ear
Summary: Интересные бюджетные наушники: не хватают звёзд с неба в плане качества звука, но качественно сделаны, да и упаковка интересная. За тысячу рублей брать стоит, за полторы и выше – я бы пару раз подумал.
