Summary: I bought these on the recommendation of a Best Buy sales associate without researching. The headphones are pretty easy to pair, but getting the right fit took some time. Once I figured that out, I immediately understood why the sales associate recommended them. They sound fantastic and are on par with my Klipsch S4 headphones. The bass is nice and deep and I can hear the mids and highs as well.
Summary: I've had every generation of Bluetooth buds from Jaybird. Awesome product and customer service! I have been rockin' the BBX since the day they became available and can't wait for the next generation. So excited!!! I can't believe that there are any negative reviews. Maybe I've just been very lucky or maybe people are unknowingly purchasing illegal, pirated products that are not from Jaybird.
Summary: I've had my BlueBuds X for a year now and I use them everyday. I run with them, I sweat all over them and I haven't had any problems at all. They are comfortable, sound great and perform as indicated. Love the convenience of changing songs/accepting calls/adjusting volume with the remote. I recently lost one of the ear tips and JayBird customer service replaced them for free THE NEXT DAY to Canada. Great product - great service.
Summary: Bought these for my wife and I for outdoor activities. My set worked for 2 uses and then they started cutting out whenever the earbud was moved slightly and the control buttons malfunctioned causing all 3 buttons to only function as on/off buttons. My wife's battery only lasted about 3 hours from day one and this has not improved with recharging. Not quite the claimed 8 hours of run time. The buds wiil also not stay in place.
Summary: the earbuds are okay. sound is good, but impossible to get them to fit properly, or stay in, because of shape of buds and rubber ear insert. what's more, when my charging cord went bad in the first two months, they would not replace it. simply refused and told me any android charging cord would work. this was my second problem purchase from this company. they have flashy advertising, but that's basically all you're paying for.
Summary: I ended up returning these. . . Sound is quite good, but they have more bass than is true to the recording. I had to dial this down to be accurate. They use their own tone mapping. Also I found them to be very uncomfortable. They are BIG and stick out of your ear a lot more than comparable models. The Bose in-ear headphones are 10x more comfortable and use the same style of in ear retention system.
Summary: Battery lasts longer than my 9-to-5; controls are slightly incongruous with standard EarPods - to skip to the next song you hold the volume up button for two seconds, which can be a long time if you need your hands; the wrap-around option is comfortable and low-profile; not perfect at noise isolation, but did make a recent fire-alarm test infinitely more bearable; sound quality is on-par with any commercial headphones you want to compare; connection is excellent - I've...
Summary: Good while they lasted. Unfortunately today, like so many others have reported with these headphones, they simply died. They no longer turn on or charge. It's been less than a year since I bought them, so I assume the Apple Store will cover the warranty replacement. Let's see how log the second pair lasts. Wish me luck (Ill report back here in another year, when those ones fail...).
Summary: Constantly fall out during workouts. Not a reliable set of earphones. I have tried all attachments and combinations to adjust the fit. Earphones need to be simple. These aren't ready for prime time yet.
