Garbled robots

Audie Q, Staples
  • Excerpt: I purchased this, my first Jawbone bluetooth because it was a good price on a Staples daily deal. Unfortunately, there were many things lacking with this item. First and foremost, the voice quality was terrible! Especially when speaking to someone also using a Jawbone. We sounded like garbled robots and we needed to take the Jawbone's off in order to understand each other. Second, it was quite uncomfortable in my ear. So much so, that it kept falling out.

Not impressed

Ed, Staples

  • Excerpt: No range. Don't get to far from your phone. You can't leave your phone in the car or in another room in your house and walk around hands free. If I have the headset in my left ear and put the phone in my right pocket it gets scratchy. It is also too heavy for the earbud to hold it in place unless you are sitting still. You have to use the earhook so as not to lose it. If I hadn't misplaced my receipt it would have been returned.

The product was terrible.

  • Summary: Not happy with the era at all. The Era picked up all of the back ground noise and the features didn't work properly. I traded down for the Icon, also made by Jawbone and I'm extremely happy the Icon.

  • Summary: Bought this item because it guaranteed better/best quality in sound with low noise interference. Had bad experiences with previous blue tooth items. THIS ONE IS NO DIFFERENT !!!!! Very disappointed. Hard to use...difficult to keep in place...moves around when touched. Don't know when I will ever find a blue tooth type earpiece that will allow me to work freely hands free !!!! UGH ! HELP !!!!!!

Disapointing to say te least I could have had a good bottle of wine for$30

  • Summary: It was explained that it blocked out a lot of back round noise and it absolutely does not. It was refurbished and I do not know if I paid any attention to that or not but upon receipt clearly the product was marked. After attempting to use it several times in the car 2009 DTS which is a very quiet ride I just gave up and through it in my desk drawer @ $30.00 did not think it was worth the hassle of returning.

  • Summary: Sound quality is poor at times. People that are on other end say they can't hear me speak. I will probably go with a different brand next time around. The price was good but you also get what you pay for. I don't reccomend.
