Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed using the Jabra Wave; it is sleek, small and one of the easiest headsets to use that is currently on the market. Making and taking calls is simple and this quickly became one of our favorite hands-free devices. We think it would be even more useful if we could listen to podcasts and music, but hearing and being heard clearly during a conversation put this headset way above the rest.
Pros: Charge Me Up:, Pair Off:, So Easy:, Comfortable Design:, No Background Noise:
Cons: Charging Time:, Where Is The Carry Case?:, Nothing But Calls:
Summary: Adding a bit more colour and a dollop of new features to the Wave does seem to work, and we believe this is a headset that combines good performance with a very attractive design. And, does not cost a bomb either.
Pros: Unique looks, Comfortable, even for long hours of usage, Can work in either ear, Built well, Good battery backup times
Cons: Audio lacks clarity in less than perfect environment, Loses out in the range game
Excerpt: The first characteristic you'll notice when you look at the Jabra Wave is the unusual comma-like shape. It's unlike any other Bluetooth headset . This design begins with the earbud fitting into the ear and wrapping up and behind the ear where you'll find most of the buttons and hardware. The microphone then follows under the earlobe and onto the cheek.
Pros: Wraps over and under the ear for a secure and discreet fit. Battery life is exceptional.
Summary: At Rs. 3,899, there's very little to complain about with the Jabra Wave, other than the fact that the secureness of the fit needs to be reworked every hour or so. It performs well, is reasonably sleek and will pair with 2 devices simultaneously. A good buy if you're in a market for a wireless headset, but do remember this one in mono only.
Pros: Attractive looking, Reasonably sleek, Priced well
Cons: Fit could have been more secure and marginally more comfortable, The device could have been a little smaller, A little more range would be useful
