Good sound quality but echo still a problem on calls
3 May 2014
Summary: I am being very careful in this review because I tried various things to reduce the echo that starts coming in on the other person's end during calls. The Bluetooth connection works fine and the sound quality is good, but I am no longer using it with my Iphone5 to conduct interviews because people I call will inevitably start getting feedback.
Works great with USB, horrible echo with any iphone over bluetooth
12 January 2014
Summary: We bought 8 of these for our team to use, and every one of them works great over USB and Microsoft Lync software, and even Cisco VOIP. The only issue is over bluetooth, which creates a horrible echo after 5-10 minutes of use. This is re-creatable on every speaker, and only with iphone 5s. I believe this is a known issue after reading some posts online that Jabra is working for a fix... still no resolution.
Summary: As some other reviewers point out, it does result in a lot of echo for listeners on the other side of the conference call. Do not recommend it for the price quoted. If you're using it just as a speaker, then its fine, but for a cell phone conference call where people need to speak, it won't work well enough.
Summary: This little thing is great. Awesome build quality for the price and it has very clear sound. We got it hoping to replace the overpriced polycom with something more cost efficient. With regards to sound output this is completely parallel to the polycom. My only complaint is that there is only one microphone which is placed around the perimeter so this is not very good in a conference setting as it doesn't pick up sound from 360 degrees.
