Summary: Bought the 9470 as a replacement for a 9125, like the neckband vs. The over the head band, the 9125 had 12 hours, the 9470 is rated at 9 hours, the fit and comfort of the 9470 is excellent, and the sound quality seems as good as my previous unit. Ease of use is perfect with the display, and the earpiece touchpad able to connect desk, pc, and mobile in one unit, wow! awesome. The sacrifice of user time is a trade off overall an excellent unit.
Summary: We have used three or four other brands and none of them are close to this unit for both comfort and versatility. Some folks use the unit with over the ear, standard headset, and behind the head. The unit has been an excellent purchase for use in our office.
Pros: We purchased four of these over the past 8 months and all of them have been rock solid. Clarity is excellent. Paired the phone with both my Polycom IP telephone and my computer for use in video conferences. Both hearing and voice is crystal clear. Not one of the four have had an issue and will order 2 additional units later this year. The touch display is great as well as using your finger to control the volume from the headset.
Summary: The headset is light, installs easily, but does not pair well with all phone systems. They also need to make it clear that you need a headset lifter to best utilize the headset. I like being cordless but I am not thrilled with the sound quality. Jabra support is very good, however it really depends on the conpatibility of your telephones. Check that out before you buy.
Summary: I am very impressed with the sound quality of this headset. It is comfortable, easy to set up and works with multiple devices. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the way you have to tap the ear piece twice to go on mute. If you are near the base, you can press the mute button on the base, but if you are walking around, it's a little tricky. It's easy to tell when you are on mute by the tone it gives you every so often, so it's not a big deal. The range is great.
Summary: The Jabra Pro 9470 boasts connectivity with your mobile, PC and Deskphone to one wireless headset. No more switching between headsets for Skype, mobile calls etc. The reception in and around my home office is fantastic however the talk time on the head set without charging is a little low for my liking. All in all though for office use I would recommed this headset which comes with 3 wearing styles all of which I have found to be comfortable for all day wearing.
Summary: The listing shows and explicitly states you're ordering the Jabra Pro 9470 with touch screen, multi use etc. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. What I actually received is a replacement headset/earpiece only. I read this listing at least a dozen times before placing my order, just to be sure I understood what I was getting. As they say, if it seems too good to be true... If you need a replacement headset, then this may be for you. Otherwise, probably not.
Summary: After a chat with the SimplyHeadsets sales staff, I knew exactly what product was right for me. The Jabra Pro series are fantastic, and after a few weeks of using mine, I went out and bought the other staff in the office units from the same Jabra Pro range. All of us are extremely happy with our headsets, and would not hesitate in recommending Simply Headsets for any headset purchase! Well done guys - great job!
Summary: I've had this for over a year. Plugs into any recent desk phone, which is most VOIP sets as all have provisions for headset operation. No handset lifter required. Integrates with my PC for MS Live Meeting conferences, desk phone, and cell phone (Bluetooth pairing via base station... if you walk away on a cell call, the cell phone has to remain close to the Jabra base). The only think I wish I could find is a way to listen to my MP3 music in stereo when not on a call...
