Poor sound and inconvenient
22 November 2013
Summary: It's easy to use and seemed like a great idea but the sound quality was inconsistent. It's not really geared to use with an iPhone - just more commands to make a call and did not silence the radio when placing a call as stated. Also, unlike an earpiece, you have to change your source when you leave your car or end your call. Not worth it.
Summary: Bought this after a lot of research. While the sound quality is good I have a lot of trouble using the hand free voice calling. Hopefully Jabra is listening and and will update their software with the following: 1. No need to have to say Phone Commands. If you say: "Call" or "Dial" that can be only a phone command. Play or Stop can only be for your music 2. Improve the Voice recognition. I have to say at least 5 time "Answer" before it actually answers a call.
Summary: I wish my car had an AUX input, but it doesn't, so I need some way to connect my iPhone for music and Bluetooth. I had high expectations based on the video on Jabra's website. The voice control is activated by pressing a button on the unit, and telling it to use the iPhone's voice command system. 80% of the time it takes me 3 tries to get the right person - not sure whether that's Apple or Jabra's issue. I've given up and dial by hand. So much for hands free.
