Summary: Bought this unit in May and it died after 3 months of nominal use. All warranty and repairs are offered via the companies web site but it is truly a black hole of service. Never responded to my request for support and they do not offer a phone number for service calls.
Summary: I syncronized the head set to my phone and fully charged it the day after I received it. The day after that I tested its reception and clarity, which I would give 3 out of 4 stars for both. Then on the 4th day I owned it, I put it in my ear, getting ready to leave the house.
Summary: I tried two of these headsets with my Blackberry Pearl and they didn't work. Had to basically hold the phone up next to it to get it to work decently (which completely undermines the purpose of having a hands-free device!) but there was still some static.
Summary: This is the second defective Jabra BT530 Bt Headset that I have received. Perhaps these manufacturers should get the picture that China is not a truly viable manufacturing venue. China produces more defective goods than any other country in the world. It is economic warfare.
Summary: This product doesn't fit your ear well if you happen to have small ears like me. Also the noise reduction doesn't seem all that great. It may be a direct result of the bad fit as the device sticks outwards away from my face when I put it on.
Summary: I ordered this hoping the ambient noise feature would make for a better listening and speaking experience on my Palm Centro. Sadly, while the ambient noise feature was better, the regular listening and speaking features were much worse than the BT8040 which I already have at half the price.
Summary: After looking over the description carefully, I ordered this headset. Instead of receiving a NEW retail Jabra BT530 headset, I received a REFURBISHED Jabra Extreme headset. I've returned the item and won't be ordering from them again! Be very careful with any of these sellers.
Summary: I just received mine from Shopcell. It came in very strange packaging that does not actually have the manufacturer's name on it. It reads "Cellular Accessories." Did not come with a manual, and the packaging opened so easily that I'm not sure it wasn't used before.
Summary: Headset is junk. Horribly uncomfortable no matter which ear-gel is used. (What 'gel'? They're hard as rocks.) People on the other end of the call couldn't hear me at all, even with the volume up all the way. Knowledge base is insulting.
