  • Summary: great sound (bass and treble). very nice fit. very comfortable and lightweight. Since the units reduces the outside sound a bit it is possible that if you bang on the frame you will noticed the sound a little more than usual, but since we don't usually do that it is a great headset overall.

  • Summary: I am disabled, I cannot walk, so T V and music means a lot to me.The headphone''s I buy must be comfortable,,sound great,,,and look good. I owned the Dr.dre phone,s and they worked well, but the Harman Kardon headphones truly do deliver a beautiful sound!! My choice hands down via sound ,cost ,and all around quality are the H .K head phones, thanks and happy listening.
  • Pros: sound comfort and quality
  • Cons: none that I can think of

A good buy.

  • Summary: These Headphones come at a time where the market has become very commercialized and no longer about quality. These, however, offer excellent sound, great depth, quality design and with a very affordable price. No batteries needed, the cord is detachable at both ends, the microphone works well for phone calls, yet i would not count on the volume buttons working with every device. The materials also make this product lightweight.

Harman Kardon CL

  • Summary: I bought these based on overall good reviews I had read. While they sounded very good and isolation was decent, they just weren't very comfortable to me. My ears quickly go hot and sore. I returned them for a pair of Bose AE2W's and love them.
  • Pros: Great sound and isolation
  • Cons: Not comfortable

Harman Kardon CL Head Phones

C E, Crutchfield
14 February 2013
  • Summary: Great looking headphones, and are well built. The reason I returned them was there was not a lot of bass, I now understand that I am a Bass head and must have head phones that are designed for more base. Very nice med tones and high tones are not harsh, and the bass is there just not low or powerfull. I really liked the look and how they are not huge with big cans, very sleek...
  • Pros: Look and good overall sound.
  • Cons: Bass is good just not what a Bass Head like wants

  • Summary: Hello, guys. Originaly I was going to buy some AKG K550, Sennheiser Momentum or Sony's MDR-1R... Unfortunately this weekend was "El Buen Fin" (the equivalent to US Black Friday in Mexico) and, when I went on Sunday to buy my headphones On Bestbuy the AKGs K550 were Out of stock </3. So I had to buy something else... After try many headphones, including: Sennheiser's Momentum, Sony's MDR-1R, Sennheiser's HD25, Pioneer's HDJ1500, some Dennons and other headphones.
  • Pros: Great value/Price point, Stong bass, clear overall spectrum response
  • Cons: Uncofortable, recessed mids, not ideal for some genres

  • Summary: The Harman/Kardon CL has a very recessed treble compared to an average high fidelity headphone, but responds well in my view to a bit of treble boost. With that accomplished expect a somewhat light (not dark) sound with good bass extension and satisfactory weight given the size and earpad type. Mids are slightly emphasized around 700 hz I think lightening up the sound.
