Summary: This is the third set of these we have bought, the first two bought for our children to use while travelling and using electronics. However one broke when my daughter decided to cut the cable to see what would happen (entirely not the fault of the product) so another pair was bought with her pocket money because these headphones do the job so well for the price. They go loud enough for travelling (even while airborne) but not ear damagingly loud.
Summary: Good value for money, comfortable adjustable fit, and the grandchildren, age 3 and 6, enjoyed wearing them. They were bought for use with in-car dvd players, and we have enjoyed the peace and quiet! I have given them a 4 star simply because there was no volume limiter, although this did no appear to be a problem.
Summary: Have previously bought blue/black version of these for my son, it's been 2 years and still going strong. Before summer holidays I've purchased white/purple headphones for my daughter. She was very excited to use her new headphones on the flight to America. However the jack broke straight away - the tip of the connector stayed in the headphone socket after the first use.
Summary: Decent, child-friendly headphones. They have survived 2 x 8 hour car journeys with a 2 year old as well as being packed into the same bag as a portable dvd player. Sound quality is fine but there is no volume control on the headphones themselves. Plug and play, they will work on anything that has a 3.5mm socket.
Summary: Build quality looks good and just about fits my 3 year olds head and I mean just about. However, I have noticed when the headphones are on it does emit a lot of noise (i.e. the movie which is being played). I'm not expecting noise cancellation but I'm concerned with the noise which is clearly audible to people in close proximity. We bought these for the plane so should be ok but could be a problem in a quieter environment. Is this expected behaviour?
