  • Summary: Few years before i had sr60 and they amazed me, very confy and gread sound. So i got the sr80 and they are just as same as sr60. Sound is great only when you turn it the volume they start to lose the quality and make weird noize. So keep it low and enjoy the music!

  • Summary: This is a superb entry into the realm of the audiophile. The SR80s have a very 'musical' quality. By that I mean there is not one single definable aspect that makes them stand out; music on these cans sounds more alive, involving, immediate, exciting and, well, musical.

  • Summary: I have had it for a very long time. Smooth, rich sound. I use it exclusively with my iPhone and iPod nowadays.   The foam just ripped even though I gave it TLC! I wrote to the company and a received a snarky response from a smart-ass there - he must hate working there, or what.
  • Pros: Fabulous sound, but I use it only while trying to fall asleep
  • Cons: Terrible, terrible foam

  • Summary: The Grado SR80i is one of the entry-level models in an extensive lineup. It is the first "high-end" over-ear headphone I had bought.   On my first listen it seemed like a huge step-up from all the previous (cheap) cans that I had owned. The soundstage was noticeably much wider.
  • Pros: Great mids, Tight lows, Soundstage
  • Cons: Isolation, Sometimes fatiguing and overly bright

  • Summary: The Grado SR-80 is currently my headphone of choice and I personally think it is an excellent headphone. BASS: The bass has incredible impact, as all Grado phones do. There isn't actually a whole lot of bass compared to phones like the Sony V6, but theimpact and tightness of this bass is incredible.

  • Summary: Good headphones but open backed so really not for use in public as they would irritate those around you.
