Summary: I love these headphones. They come with the 1/4" plug, so you will need to get an adaptor to play on an Ipod. It is harder to find an adapter for 1/4" to 1/8" at any of the mass-market electronic stores.
Summary: I bought these headphones 9 months ago and have been very disappionted with them. I agree with all the comments on the sound quality, save I would add that the sound stage is narrow compared with the AKG K702 headphones. The AKG'S also produce a more neutral sound, true to the original recording.
Summary: This model has been replaced by the SR 325is, which is silver in colour whereas these older ones are gold. I am rating these as 3 stars because Amazon won't let me post this review without a rating, I do not own these headphones, nor have I heard them. I do however own the newer model.
Summary: I've just received my first pair of Grado's today and thought I would go for the SR225i's. I have been using the Ultrasone DJ1's for the past 12 months and have grown used to the excellent sound stage provided by the S-Logic system.
Summary: You either love the Grado brand or you hate it, Me, I love Grado's.....& Marmite but that's another story. I bought some iGrado's recently (see other reviews) and was very pleased by the ''Grado'' sound which was new to me, I'd probably describe it as a more detailed midrange than a lot of phones...
