Overall, good headphones

Godthul, head-fi.org
29 April 2012
  • Excerpt: These headphones are quite good, and have really great highs. They are an improvement over the SR-80i, with a more balanced and bright sound with better articulation. For the money, they are quite good.
  • Pros: Very good mids and highs, crisp bass, good articulation, no distortion
  • Cons: Not very comfortable

The sound is great.

  • Summary: These are superb, they feel good to wear and give top qualty sound even at low volume. Its like listerning to a high quality hifi. My only complaint is that people around can hear your music. But don't let that put you off, even with the small jack pin attached the sound is great.

Amazing sound quality but not durable enough.

Krzysztoforius Neuropsilon "KRZ", Amazon

  • Summary: These are the best headphones you can get in this price range. Please note that these are designed to be used indoors only. In my opinion Grado needs to improve the physical design of their headphones. After having these for nearly 6 years they started disintegrating.

SR125i are among the finest headphones I've used.

Armando Reis "Armando Reis", Amazon
28 December 2012
  • Summary: I've owned other brands of headphones, some within the price range of these SR125i. But, in the short time I've had these, they have already shown they are remarkably good, perhaps the best I've ever owned.

Superb sound..could improve in other areas

  • Summary: The sound from these SR125i's is superb, which of course is the the most important aspect (5 stars from me) but it's the little things that cause me to take a mark off : first, the cable is pretty short, thick and unwieldy. Also, unlike some of Grado's cheaper headphones, there is no 3.5mm adaptor.
