Summary: I bought these earphones in July. By December the insulation had split open, leaving the wires exposed. I had expected such an expensive product to be more durable than that. These earbuds promise great noise cancellation if fitted properly, but I found them very difficult to fit.
Summary: i buyed those because i have 2 pairs of similar earphones from the same brand, but they are not comparable at all, the old ones (ER-6i, that i can't find anymore) were so comfortable and so isolating with any of the interchangeable plugs.
Summary: I bought these headphones back in 2011 and quite enjoyed them for about 8 months, when one of the headphones started working intermittently. I wrote to Amazon about this and they promptly sent me a new pair. Less than 5 months later the cable has frayed near the plug.
Summary: I have had these less than six months and all the in-ear attachments (foam cylinder,dome-shaped bit, the larger flanged tips) are FALLING TO BITS! The flanged ones split, the foam comes away and the dome-shaped things break apart. Good sound, horrible ear tips.

Summary: Für mich als Drummer sind Kopfhörer wichtig, die den Außenlärm gut abdämpfen. Das erledigen die Etymotics sehr gut, auch mit dem Klang bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ernüchterung kam dann nach einem halben Jahr: Einen halben Zentimeter vor dem Klinkenstecker riss der Mantel auf.
