  • Excerpt: If you're looking for a balanced frequency response without the sonic coloring of the low end or mid range of most earbuds, these are the buds for you. It may sound boring, but there's something about hearing a song as faithfully as possible. The mc3 do that surprisingly well at it's price range.

  • Excerpt: these headphones provide excellent isolation from outside sound. So well that it is necessary to use the external mic with awareness app if you intend to walk or ride in traffic. The bass response is not as good as the Aavantree Sacool bluetooth headphones I own but they are more comfortable and the...

good sound uncomortable bass shy

  • Excerpt: This earphones produce an honest sound with enough detail but they are uncomfortable because you have to have a very tight fit and I could get it only with the foam inserts. I didn't try the custom fittings but read somewhere they are hard therefore I am not sure they will add to comfort.

Good isolating earbuds

  • Excerpt: Great for use where you really want total isolation from outside sound. I use them when cutting the grass, doing woodworking, and the like. They have an app that uses the mic to feed in outside sound, but I found it really drains the battery.

  • Excerpt: I recently purchased these in-ear headphones for my iPod touch. After reading bad reviews on the Apple in-ear headphones on other websites, I decided to try these instead. I wasn't sure what to except from this brand.

Excellent Isolation and Neutral Sound

  • Excerpt: This is my second pair of Etymotics. I previously had the er-6i and the cord broke from the stress of wrapping it around my ipod. These have a much better cord that seems more durable.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Lightweight

great quality but weird button placement

24 January 2011
  • Excerpt: I really like these headphones but I find the button placement very strange. The control buttons are located very close to the right earphone and it takes some time to get used to feeling your way around the buttons (as you cannot see them).
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Lightweight
  • Cons: Poor button placement
