Subpar product

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: The rubber on these earphones started tearing after a few months of normal wear. And although it's a quite subjective topic, they were very uncomfortable.
  • Pros: Noise isolation, good sound quality
  • Cons: Poor build quality, uncomfortable

User Review

Hyuk J., Newegg

  • Summary: I've owned these headphones since 2004, and they are awesome, but incredibly fussy. This is my second pair, and really, I am always blown away by how good they are for their price. The big, and I mean BIG downside is learning how to put them in your ear.
  • Pros: -Near studio reference, if you know how -Noise isolation is just extreme, if you know how
  • Cons: -You have to know how

  • Cons: Can be uncomfortable for irregularly shaped ear canals. Rubber tips can be rough, but are well worth getting used to and are very durable/washable/reusable. Foam tips eventually wear out (you can order more). Thin wires could easily be cut by accident: BE CAREFUL. While you work/excercise you sho...

Static Noise on laptops

Gwan C., Newegg
11 August 2005
  • Summary: I used it on Samsung mp3 payer: works great. Clean, etc as most positive reviews say. Then I plugged it in Dell laptop. It was making noticeable static noise at all volum levesls. I tried it on Fujitsu P2040 laptop (known to be very clean audio), it makes the similar noise.
